PF had to have seen the huge media coverage of the Watts case back in August-November, especially since the resided in the same state.

What made him think he could get away with it?

I was devastated to hear Kelsey died, although, I felt she was murdered. When I heard of the solicitation to commit murder charge, indicating premeditation, I felt nauseous. The only silver lining is that he didn’t hurt her baby, unlike Monster Watts.

It makes me feel sick to know that Shanann was excited to come home to her husband and Kelsey was baking cinnamon rolls, asking for mom’s best recipes to prep for Thanksgiving, while their husbands were ruthlessly plotting their murders. SW & KB had NO idea they were each going to die on that day, at the father of their child’s hands.

People came out of the woodwork to call both CW and PF “gentle”, “kind”, “loving father” yet each were actively planning their murders and poor Shanann & Kelsey were completely blindsided.

Yes, sometimes there are signs that a man will be a potential murderer, however not always.

It is an uncomfortable realization to understand that not all men who murder their wives have a criminal past, “red flags” or “signs”. Any one can be Shanann or Kelsey.

Clearly, the monsters ARE NOT UNDER THE BED....

Great post!

That poor little girl. She will hopefully have no memory of this and will go on to be loved in KB's parents custody. I wonder, and assume that she was a witness to this. SO sad.

It is too heartbreaking to think about being killed with your baby in the house thinking you will never see her grow up in your last moments. I apologise for any distress caused in posting this.

What a terrible and tragic year 2018 has been here with Kelsey, Mollie, Grace, Shan’ann, Cee Cee, Bella and Nico and so many innocent victims being murdered.

According to this report (5:30 mark), Fox News asked police what's next and learned:
  1. There will be searches for Kelsey's body in the next few days.
  2. Forensic evidence will be sent to the lab
  3. They are working on retrieving more data from Kelsey's phone, which was apparently found and located near Twin Falls, Idaho

Do we actually "know" his mother was part of the conspiracy? No. I was not feeling any warmth in that direction either but on reflection maybe she too is a victim of her son's crime? What if she didn't know the truth. She truly believed he was being held in suspicion merely because he was the last person to see KB alive? Can you imagine the shock she is in right now?

If there is a murder for hire person that person could have had a burner phone.
jmo

"burner phones can still be located over a cellular network by the temporary phone number, or logged whenever you call someone else’s phone via their carrier." and there are a few other ways as well. None of them are 100 percent though. Honestly, I am guessing whoever is involved in this is not a top notch assassin. Probably just a dumb *advertiser censored*...

I can’t imagine the pain and turmoil KB’s family have been through. Knowing for weeks that their likely deceased daughter’s daughter was being cared for by a murderer on top of mourning for their own child is unimaginable. So heartbreaking, I’m sure they will treasure that sweet little girl as she should be.

it's almost like someone had possession of this phone or knew of its exact location. and we obviously know PF isn't talking.

Exactly. We know for sure that everyone on Kelsey’s side of the family, is a victim here.

We can’t say with certainty, that everyone on his side is a victim.

There are indications that the exact opposite may be true. I’m not saying that they committed a crime, but there’s always that possibility.

He showed no concern for the missing mother of his child (because he killed her), and they followed his lead.

He should lose everything that he killed for, and his family should not reap the benefits, regardless of involvement.

Sorry. Not sorry.

No sympathy here either.
We have ZERO (factual) clue about the dynamics between KB and PF's family. But from this seat it doesn't appear to be a healthy and welcoming one. IMO

I do know that there is a 'stigma' of women having babies out of wedlock by (SOME) families' of the baby's father. Cuz apparently the perfect son had nothing to do with conception... *insert eye-roll here*

MOO

If this is true, and they found her phone, I have to believe that they were led to it by the person who disposed of it.

I suppose there is the chance that it was somehow located without the help of a third party, but I have strong doubts about that.

I think someone is talking, and we know it ain’t Cowboy Pat.

At about 2:40 they interview a coffee shop employee who says Kelsey worked there for about 2 months. I wonder if that is what she did while she was heavily pregnant and couldn't fly? Shows what kind of woman Kelsey was-- hard working and responsible taking a coffee house job to support herself temporarily. MOO.

Haaaa. Yeah.

Hypocrisy at its finest.

I don’t think think they should take any chances here, and I don’t think they will.

I wonder if KB’s Mom sought legal advice prior to today about how to handle custody of the baby if PF was arrested. I’m sure they knew it was possible KB was deceased and wanted to insure his family did not try to get custody. Just so there was no battle ahead. Probably why KB’s Mom was very tight lipped when asked anything about her grandchild.

And something that has always stuck out to me at that presser where her mother was at.

She wasn't going to say a word, but she stepped forward unexpectedly and interrupted the speaker to answer a question by the media and said that her daughter had never lived with him.

I thought that was very interesting and couldn't figure out why.

Perhaps there is some law as far as the baby's custody that is entwined with whether they lived together at any point?

I'd say so. Is this the only report that has clearly stated that the phone was found? I find that odd. But God, I hope it's true.

I too hope it’s true.

But I am very skeptical, as I haven’t heard it mentioned from another source.

It is a very big deal, and I can’t imagine other outlets wouldn’t jump all over it.

Either it’s true, or their was some miscommunication, and they are talking about data from the carrier as opposed to data from the physical phone.

The strength KB's family has exhibited is amazing...I don't think I would have enough self-control to not badmouth PF if I had been in her position. You could tell when her mom talked to the media that she was trying so hard to be positive about the situation, even though I think she knew all along PF was responsible. A true class act. My heart hurts for her and the rest of the family.

I believe that since PF withheld the baby from CB and lived with his mother their is a presumption of consensual agreement to this - I consider this a clue of the family dynamic IMO - of course that assumes PF wasn’t holding his mom hostage so as to prevent her from helping CB see the baby since Dec 2?
