F/T farriers makes $92k/yr average.

Average Farrier Salary

Many have stated his income as $92,000 per year. I just don't see that on this small acreage, but assuming it is true, that was revenue...not income. That does not include the cost of hay and feed. I think he really was barely getting by raising and training dogs. MAYBE he made some money competing in team roping, but it is very expensive traveling and hauling horses. I don't know a lot of rich farriers, and many people do it themselves.

I really think he PLAYED at being a cowboy. Many people that have cattle that I know also have another job and raise the cattle as a sideline.

Thinking about brothers on the force and mom being an RN, he could have had her convinced that if she ever dared to leave him, that they would smear her name, falsely accuse her of abuse etc...
If she was in an abusive situation, she may have thought no one would believe her.
Why Cinnamon rolls?
The neighbor said he never stayed overnight. That sounds like something one would make for breakfast after a "spend the night party"
I wonder, was any eaten?
Did it have only his DNA on it?
(Like the pizza from the case where the family was killed. - I forget the last name)
THAT could be why they believe she was killed on Thanksgiving- none of her DNA on the buns???
Moo
Did the neighbor say he didn't stay overnight? I remember the neighbor saying she thought he lived there? Can someone clarify?

It’s possible (and hopeful) that by the time the trial rolls around, lots of pieces of evidence will have converged.

For example, I think it’s likely they have...

Unreleased video footage of Kelsey besides the Safeway one

Unreleased video footage of PF’s locations in the days that followed

Records of unusual phone activity from both their phones

Witnesses who have come forward to say they have reason to believe he would be violent

Friends of hers who come forward to say there were serious relationship issues

Evidence from the trash dump

Evidence of a crime from her house

Evidence he solicited someone else

What else am I missing?
They have PF's red truck. Who knows what LE may have found in/on it.

I've heard that a body put into a pig pit will be devoured overnight except for a few small bones and teeth.
WARNING...Sensitive material
I recently did some research about this for a book I was working on. I was trying to find if you could identify remains through pig excretion. Here is what I found:

A pig's body is also quite up to the task of digesting almost every part of the human body. They can not only chew and digest human flesh, they can also readily digest human bone without excreting a noticeable trace of it. Of course, they can't quite chew the skulls and longer bones that humans have, but if our killer has enough determination, they can just break said bones into smaller, more chewable pieces. They also can't digest human hair and teeth, but it should be a simple matter to shave your victims' heads and pull out their teeth before chow time, right?

Someone up thread was asking for video of the property with a hole that was dug by law enforcement. There was a 9-minute drone video by Channel 9 I think, ( I cannot find it now) but two below are shorter versions.

ETA, perfect timing following Peppermint Patties post above.

Welcome Peppermint Patty! I just saw you on television a couple of nights ago with Charlie.
Thank you so much! and LOL too funny!! I forget I'm famous.. ;)

Good observations, I noticed no run in sheds for the horses to protect them from the weather unless he used the barn. Would love to know the interior layout of the barn, it looks to me to be more living space.

Look like a nice barn from the outside. Hopefully they got to use the inside at night!

And also he probably has a decent overhead; feeding, caring for the animals, buying the animals. Water, cleaning, etc, they aren't cheap, so he may have made 92 but after overhead and taxes? would be way way way less IMO.
My father was a farrier for 3 decades and that isn't an unattainable income alone. Add some cattle sales and it's possible. Without including right offs and such. Being self employed, all materials, feed, gas, vehicle depreciation etc. can be written off. Who knows?? But I can't says it's impossible to make that much.

It's also possible he didn't have too many clients (farrier wise). If he was a jerk then I would go with no.

Trying to figure out this quote/reply options. Hope I'm doing it right!
