I am with you on that. Maybe the murderer was doing something out in the other rooms? I was just looking at photos of the townhome again on the Zillow listing:

Photo #19 shows a small room at the end of a hallway. Another photo shows a desk back there.

If that was where the murder started out, that is a long hallway for things to get splattered in the kitchen.

Without going back to the live blog. it said blood in the bathroom, on fireplace, TV and even upstairs, too, right? His bloody footprints all over, IIRC. And KK cleaned that up and went out to eat.

I think the pinging was part of the plan to mislead authorities into thinking KB had headed north. It might have been KK's particular contribution to the plan. PF is an emotional calculator; KK is a coldly rational calculator.

I think she left blood behind, but not in hopes of LE finding her. I think she left it behind as insurance if she thought PF might still come after her or her children. She could remind him that no matter what other evidence he/they had destroyed, she had deliberately left evidence in the condo. Easy to overlook, but also easy to find if you've gotten an anonymous tip. If she didn't tell him where it was, even if he could get back into the condo, he wouldn't know where to look.

Agreed. And I hope when it comes to trial she gets hammered on her inconsistencies. First she claims to have left a trail of breadcrumbs to help out LE, then she denies and obfuscates when they catch up with her. What a piece of work.

How would a sweater stay tied over someone’s head during such a violent struggle?

Here’s a thought.... What if PF was pulling Kelsey’s sweater over her head under the guise of intimacy but KK felt betrayed by even the suggestion of that taking place so she changed it to her more girly sounding candle scent scenario?

He could have also just gotten the sweater up over her head in a variety of ways and then pushed or tripped her to begin the attack. He seems like the kind of guy who would not be willing to have a fair fight to me....

She may not have directly seen, but I'm sure baby K heard her mother's screams and cry for help.

Ya, it's not something I can imagine a man, who is capable of telling his side check to come clean up his baby mama's blood he just splattered everywhere, conjuring.

When you think about it, what real purpose did it serve? He is much larger than her, he doesn't need to disable her by making her unable to see.

Maybe he was too much of a wimp to look her in the eye while he ended her life. He probably figured it would be easier and less confrontational if he just took her by surprise. Imo

Exactly, what the defense is going to say. I have tried to go back through everything and collect what i could on PF, but could have missed some things.

1. I do believe he did it. KK was in Idaho at a family Thanksgiving- and i think the cell pings indicate KK was already dead- her phone was with PF.

But is the problem:

Nov 22- video of him back at KB’s house at 336 is in conflict with his statements

Nov 22- cell phone pings show that KB and PF’s phones were together late in the day near divide and later west of cripple creek

Nov 23- cell phone pings of KB and PF’s phones show they were both in florrissant

Nov 24- texts exchanged between the two phones near Florissant and cripple creek (by the afternoon KK’s and KB’s cell phones were together pinging of the same towers at the same times.

Circumstantial Evidence Against Patrick

Nov 22- PF called KK at 437 pm

Nov 24- Ent credit union survellience- Patrick seen on surveillance and his truck with a black tote in the back-

All of KK’s testimony

Black tote that is surmised to have contained KB and was burned.

Burn pit- accelerant identified as being used

Hay bale discoloured

Defense can poke a million holes in this. There is no proof of what was in the black tote. KK didn't even see it. No footage of PF or KK at the house- after 336 on Nov 22 for PF.

I would convict but depending on how it plays out and how blood testing comes out, I can see some people having reasonable doubt.

I am scared. They are both equally involved as far as I am concerned. She was actually going to kill KB on 3 occassions. WTH?? She drove 800 miles to clean up someone else's mess when she could have called the police and they would have caught him red handed.

Mind boggling...

I don’t know WHY but I thought KKs family lived in Colorado? I thought she went to Colorado for her family Thanksgiving ... I don’t know where I got the notion that her Dad lived there ... didn’t they say Dad didn’t think she was acting strange on 22nd?
We know she had KBs phone - so why couldn’t it have been HER with PF in all those pings?
There are holes in her story IMO... and the girly “smell the candle” DOES NOT fit the PF described by others that shot dogs and horses that failed to do their job.
Why didn’t he shoot KB, it would have been less messy. It doesn’t even make sense why he wouldn’t have done it while they are on the ranch checking cows at 4am ... much less evidence and mess to clean up out there.
Why go back to her house and do it?
Something isn’t right with this story.

I'm replying to my own post just to clarify my statement here:
PF has always been the Monster we knew from day 1.
Now KK has been revealed to be as equally Monster-ish. IMO
My laser focus on PF as the bad guy and only one responsible is now conflicted by KK's level of participation.

I don't think PF is ANY less guilty or less responsible by any means, I just don't want the general public to feel doubts about him in their blind rage at KK's actions.

Hope this isn't one of those "clear as mud" moments.

Please believe me when I say that I completely understand your feelings of revulsion for KK.
We all despise her for her role, her actions, and her inactions r/t KB's murder.
She's a horrible person.
She's a piece of crap, in fact.

Having said that, I do not agree that KK is equally as monstrous as PF.

She did not wield the bat.
She did not swing repeatedly at KB's head.

PF is the evil savage who murdered KB violently.

*There is no equivalency for what he did, IMO.*

It is beyond gruesome.

We can't lose sight of the utter brutality of PF's actions.

PF plotted KB's murder.
PF solicited KB's murder.
PF executed KB's murder with his own hands.

Nothing KK did comes close to PF's actions.

PF to be made to pay.

Dan May is going to make him pay.

I think I've just talked myself into having a huge crush on Dan May.
