They are saying the balloon is "listing" too much to have a payload it it - even a 6 year old.

Where is that "this sucks" yellow thingie?

Can we hope that he fell out while the balloon was at very low elevation (few feet off the ground ) and hasn't run home yet because he's afraid he'll get in trouble?

I know it sounds implausible but I can hope can't I?

I think that could be a possibility. Hopefully he fell and can run for help.

Where would he be sitting? In that small round bottom part? He's so light, it makes sense that he could still be in there even with it flying the way it is.

This was my hope too, Kat!

Kids had a half day and came home and changed the channel. Can't access live feed from where I am, I'll have to thank everyone in advance for updates from CNN!

He's allot lower now! OH gosh .. he's going fast .. and coming down .. I just hope it's slowly, that he comes down, but it looks fairly fast to me.

Am I just imagining things .. that he seems to be lower?

Wouldn't they have seen if he fell out? Does anyone know if the helium is in the cabin area as well? If so, would that have knocked him out because of the high concentration? The thing is going so fast and twirling all over the place!! So scary! I just hope that he does not go near the door if he is still in it.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I hope he is in there, or fell out at a very low altitude, but it just doesn't look good.

When I first heard this I thought that the little boy may have been trying to be like the movie "Up".

Army natl guard has launched two copters to try to figure out what to do.

It has turned completely on its side at times. If a door was open I don't know how he could stay in. But the expert they are interviewing said it doesn't look like their is a compartment below the balloon. It looks like it is attached to it. Wish they had a picture of this thing on the ground.

Neighbor on HLN now .. talking about the family being out this morning .. working on the aircraft.

Father was trying to show the little boy, how it feels to be in a tornado .. or something like that. It was never meant to fly

Getting closer to ground...about 1000ft

I was wondering the same thing lilpony about the impact of this craft when it hits ground. It seems as though there would be something another aircraft could do to intercept this little guy, but perhaps it is because helium is explosive? They did say life flight has come to the area for post landing action, but like somebody said before, there is so much that could go wrong here.

IMO, it doesn't look like the hatch is open.

I think the National guard dive team is going to try to intercept him.
