Hopefuly there is a bit of a break in the case.

LOL.. Yeah, I can't get it out of my head :banghead:

Funny you say this, so do I! even on the other side of the world!

I go on this site almost daily and I always check up on this topic, I find it so sad that Roger's parents died not knowing what happened to there son :(

Zaha, I can't get Roger's case out of my head either. Like you, I first looked at Roger as a possible candidate for being BK.

I just keep looking and praying for resolve in the case. Like CaptAmerica, I pray that someone comes forward with the information that helps solve this case.

The more interest we have here, and the more people commenting, the more interesting this case gets, and it was fascinating in the first place. Thanks, all, for the participation. CaptAmerica, don't be a stranger. Your input sparked great interest.

Hi ya'll. Haven't been here for a while as I don't care much for being scolded and belittled for my contributions to these cases. I would like to mention that the poster who has come here to defend himself was not defined as a POI on this board, but long before Roger's case was begun here. Just a little FYI.

I got to thinking today about a teacher my younger brother had in high school. I believe he was a history teacher and also coached the boy's varsity baseball team - though a less athletic person would be difficult to find. Anyhoo, he often had his MALE students over to his home to "study." It always bothered me and I never thought it was appropriate. I kept a pretty close eye on my little brother back in the day and he knew I didn't care for this guy. None of our boys ever went missing, but years later, I saw this same teacher on Dateline or 60 Minutes or some such show. He had been arrested as a child predator! He had long since left our school district, but that was actually the basis of the report. He just moved from one city/state to another as soon as things got heated or someone was questioning his behavior. None of the districts in which he taught ever did anything about it, they just allowed him to move on and on and on. Lord knows how many kids he hurt along the way.

Sadly, my big brother was introduced to pot by his trigonometry/theater teacher. Ironically, these things occurred in the same period during which Roger went missing.

My point is, it's not outside the realm of reality for teachers to be a bad or dangerous influence on their students. Particularly in the early 1980's, when parents weren't really as vigilant as they are now.

No amount of pontificating will change the known facts of this case, as few as they may be. Either one of the scenarios I'm relating here about my brothers could have created more than one horrible outcome. KWIM?

Silver, are you still comfortable communicating? I see that you have thanked posters for a number of recent comments but haven't answered any of the numerous questions posed to you. Seeing as you are the closest person we have to this case on WS, I thought you would like to help us.

One thing I want to add - and I don't want to offend anyone. I have a 17 year old son right now and we're close and he tells me most things. HOWEVER, lots of times, I get one syllable answers to my questions. If he had something to hide (and I don't think he does!), I can see how he would/could do it. Just sayin'.

Who are you refering to, Fairy? Anyone in particular?

Roger! I personally believe he was murdered. I base that opinion on the fact that he has yet to be found. But, if there was something going on in his life that his family didn't know about - abuse of any kind, depression, etc., I can see where he may have committed suicide.

Then again, if that were the case, I really don't believe we'd still be discusssing Roger - he would have been found long before now.

I do believe someone who thought he knew too much killed and buried him. We just have to figure out who that someone is and where they buried Roger.

He didn't run away and stay away all these years, IMO.

Case in point: Current case in Oviedo, Florida...happened a couple weeks ago.

"An Oviedo High School teacher resigned Wednesday after admitting she gave alcohol and her sport-utility vehicle to a student later arrested in a drunken-driving crash, a Seminole County Public Schools spokeswoman said."

Yes - any teacher. These people are supposed to be trustworthy, but sometimes, they're not. And they are NOT above reproach.

Has anybody tried contacting past students through one of those reunion classmates websites?

I believe we've had some of Roger's classmates post here in the past. Not for a while...

Mr. Pash, I along with many others wait for your response to these allegations, true or not: This can be found accessibly on the website http://findrogerellison.wordpress.com/

“I dont know if you were responsible for Roger Ellison’s disaperance, but I do know that you used your position of trust and psychology to manipulate certain students. (even if they were wanting to be a part of your life) They trusted that you had their best interest in your thoughts and that they were special. Isnt that what you wanted? You took no heed that your actions might have side effects.
People can use their knowledge for or against or for their own personal wants. We all have things we need to ask forgiveness for and I do beleive you have a consequence now or later.”

Comment: “I was in 7th grade at the time Roger disapeared. It impacted my older sibling, who was one of those teenagers meeting at Mr. Pash’s house.
Who knew that 3 1/2 years later I would be a victim of his “so called” counseling. Yes their was definitely drug use, drinking, and under age sex going on. I know because I was there. He cannot deny it!
It took me a few years after it happened to realize what happened and that it wasnt my doing. I was just a kid with low self esteem and thats exactly the kind of kids he preyed upon.
Unfortunately highschools are filled with them. A great hunting ground for someone like Mr. Pash.
I am doing great now. I have a lot of confidence and hardly give a thought to this predator any more. A friend of mine told me about this web site so I had to take a look.
It does trouble me and always has that this predator still teaches and is probably still abusing his power.
I did talk to investigators years ago, but unfortunately it was to late to prosecute for what was done to me. Im always hoping someone whom it is currently happening to will have the courage to talk.”

On the previous page I said that I'm a member of Classmates, but if I contact anyone, I can't be anonymous, which I prefer to remain. But I did post a link to a bulletin board posting from someone at his high school.

Anyway, I can keep checking there.

I don't think it's necessary for anyone to put themselves out there with Classmates.com. We have had folks who knew Roger posting here and they have weighed in. Then there are those recent posts on:

http://findrogerellison.wordpress.com/

IMO, where there's smoke, there's fire.

Do we know what became of the remains they found back in September?
