I can confirm, through my source who works in the industry, that the specific tanks shown in the photo of the actual body disposal site, do only have 2 access points, that CW could NOT have drained the tanks to gain access to the manway/cleaning doors unless they were practically empty, and that putting the bodies of a 3 and 4 year old into the thief hatches at the top would have taken some effort, and possible damage to their bodies. This person also became extremely shaken and disturbed when I spoke to him about it and had some very vulgar things to say about CW, and the fact that he's trying to blame his dead, pregnant wife for this.

I honestly do not understand whatsoever how anyone can continue to defend CW and entertain his ridiculous version of events after knowing exactly what he did to Bella and Celeste's bodies. There were multiple other options to disappear them if he was in fact just panicked and terrified of how things looked. Any shred of doubt I had while reading to all these alternate theories for why he might be telling the truth about SW killing them is completely gone. Even if all he ever did was shove his daughters' bodies through those holes for some seemingly justified reason, that alone is enough for me to know without a shadow of a doubt that he is a sick, twisted person, capable of taking their lives.

You make a great point here. I guess that the only way you can look at CW’s actions in relation to the body disposal, and not believe that he was involved in the murders of all of them, is to somehow justify what he did.

You kind of need an excuse to make sense of what he did with the bodies.

That’s where the “symbolism” and “protecting their bodies from the elements” ideas come into play.

I don’t buy any of that for a second.

If the opening is 8 inches diameter, that's a 25 inch circumference. According to clothing charts a 5T childs size has a 22 inch waist and 25 inch hips. If that's the case, I guess those poor babies would fit however I'm sure there would have to be some type of manipulation.

I’m not confident that he will plead guilty, even with the death penalty in play. Colorado doesn’t execute people on death row, and he would know this.

I’m hoping for a plea though.

I believe that the storage tank where CW put the girls bodies would be the "crude oil and storage tank" shown on the far left under the jack pump.

There are only 2 entryways into those tanks. The expert figured out that C.W. wouldn't have had enough time to do what he did and make it to work on time any other way. I must add, I’ve never heard AB say which worksite he showed up at that day, but I did hear her say awhile back that he arrived there around 7:30am. I don’t know how she knew that.

LE didn't see any blood at the house when they arrived to check on SW w/ Nikole. It's possible that CW dismembered the kids with a saw or knife once he was out in the oil field. But, that would be a bloody mess and he went onto work, so it's more likely he crammed them in there.

i do remember some tank photos with an opening on the top that had a ladder going into the oil, but these tanks we always see referred to now don't appear to have that ladder hole.

Yes. He knew. When AB misstated the model number of the tank, he spoke over her and said, “Standard API12F tank design.” He said they were common, there are many in use. Now, I’m no expert, maybe he was full of baloney, I don’t know. I take everything AB says in as a big maybe this is true, maybe it isn’t. Won’t know for sure until the trial.

So, there was a lot of hoopla and drama, because the state wants to seal the autopsy reports when they are released.

Maybe there are lots of injuries because of the tank openings, and they don't want that out in the public yet?

So it's a walk up the stairs and along a plank, the hatches are close to the edge. The hatches look incredibly small, the bodies would barely fit and manipulation probably occurred. This leads me to think CW never intended SW to end up in the tanks because he knew she'd never fit.
I wonder if he was going to bury all of them in an isolated spot and changed his mind, or were the girl's bodies always destined for the oil tanks? IDK.

In earlier threads, posters speculated CW wanted SW's body to be eventually found but not the girls. The kidnapping scenario would be about the girls for obvious reasons, and he would milk that for all it's worth.
CW imagined garnering sympathy from AP and the public, his wife brutally murdered and his girls out there somewhere. JMO
