I did see on one of SW's SM sites that CW posted it to her when she was in AZ. Her response was "I don't know what to make of this".

It was uploaded to SW's Facebook on the 9th, before she left for AZ. She does not state that CW sent it to her. She does say she doesn't know what to think of this, it is the twister tarp thingie, 3 ft doll, and at least they covered the body together, at least we know they have each other's backs.

Strange to post a picture of that 4 days before a terrible crime was committed.

If I was her, I would have Gloria Allred on speed dial, JIC.

IMO, this is very different from Amber Frey. In the Peterson case, LE felt strongly that SP killed his wife, but he wasn't admitting it and they didn't have enough to arrest him. I believe LE asked AF to come forward to put pressure on SP so he would make a mistake or get off his story. In this case, they found out about the affair, likely spoke to the AP, and were able to confront CW with this info. This with there other evidence allowed them to arrest CW, and very quickly.

So, I see no reason for the AP to go public until she is called to testify in the trial. I'm sure she is miserable enough already. moo

I have looked at ever insta post and I still can not figure out the layout of the house even with the floor plan. So I can't tell if this is living room, family room (on the main floor by the kitchen) or the loft...apparently that is a folded up twister mat...since when can a toddler fold anything that neatly?
As a mom of two toddlers, never.

Have you all discussed this cryptic paragraph from PEOPLE a couple of days sgo? Its from 21 august, i dont know if the link works.
  1. CRIME
Chris Watts Allegedly Changed Story Several Times Before Being Charged with Murder of Wife, Daughters

Causes of death have not been released for Shanann, Bella or Celeste. But filings from prosecutors and the defense suggest at least some of them were strangled and that a “weapon” — possibly a gun — was involved.

I haven’t seen any reports of anyone hearing gunshots. No word if weapons were in the home. I’m surprised a reporter didn’t ask the question to CW. If they did, I missed it.

There is not a reason ever to murder for money, I know some people may not agree, but from a spiritual stand point, money and possessions are never a reason to harm anyone (we shouldn't be killing and harming anyone anyway let alone for material things and money)...and not being able to afford a divorce is not an excuse. CW is a coward and a p*ssy. Hope he likes his snazzy orange romper.

It makes it even sicker for me tbh. It's even colder and more calculating to exterminate your entire family for this reason.
As more comes out, at trial, I might change my mind.
I started with : this is multiple motives but the last case I followed on WS ended up with the partner killing for financial reasons. She was dropped with her dog into a septic tank on the property.

It was all months in the planning. It was no crime of passion and it was likely he was planning to continue living there, a few feet away from the tank for the rest of his days.

Just to re-iterate, I'm not a CW supporter and I don't want to come across that I believe his story or that I'm "rooting" for him. I also don't want people to think I'm blaming the victim. Me saying that she was brainwashed by the MLM scheme isn't blaming the victim at all. It's a general consensus here that MLM will not make you rich and its a sort of cult. Does spending too much money mean you deserve death? No. Could it have been a motivating factor in the murder? Yes. I'm just stating my opinion.

I've thought that he would have strangled the girls and then shot SW through the head to make it look like a murder/suicide. For all we know, he was going to try to make it look like SW had driven the girls out to the tanks, killed them, put them in the oil, and then shot herself. But he ran out of time to make that work.

This has bothered me because of the motion for the defense also wanted their own experts for Firearms, bullets and casings.
Along with their own 'expert ' on the DNA of their necks.

Sorry if this has been covered - do we know where EXACTLY - where CW worked? I know we know the company name.. but did he work at a headquarters? or in the field traveling from place to place? where EXACTLY was he when he was '5 minutes away' and the door code didn't work to get in to his house? the field where they found SW and the girls wasn't his actual everyday workplace. We know it wasn't 5 minutes away. So where was? have we heard anything from any co-workers? Also, has anyone seen/made a timeline of CW's whereabouts from when the first officer went into his house with SW's friend and the time he was arrested? Just wondering if he had any friend/people he may have confided in besides his potential AP.....?

Regarding the photo of the wrapped doll. She said “I don’t know what to think of this”. That means she definitely did not do that. I think he did it, took a pic, sent it to her and blamed the kids. It could’ve been sent anytime before she posted it, not necessarily the 9th.

I think the financial stress could have led to his affair.

That is probably someone at the publication not knowing legal jargon regarding some of the motions that were filed that discuss evidence testing and they refer to ballistics testings as an example. It is not indicative that a gun was used in this crime, it is used in as an example for the precedent of collecting evidence.

I agree it might have been a factor and it doesn't mean I'm blaming her. But if it contributed to their relationship problems, or their money problems it might be important. Her encouraging him to get fit and start selling too might have affected his confidence (and appearance, social courage) and played a part in him having an affair. That doesn't mean the affair was SW's fault! Not at all. But I'm curious to know how the MLM lifestyle affected their relationship and his actions. I 100% believe his actions are all on him. Just want to make that clear.
