I've lost dear friends and relatives unexpectedly throughout my life. Like all of us. I still can't imagine how it feels to grandparents to lose their daughter, their developing grandson, and their 2 precious little granddaughters all at once. Some of them thrown into vast oil tanks to hide them, or in CW's words, to make sure they would not wake up again. The kids he supposedly loved. I suspect I'll still feel so angry and shaken after 10 more years go by. How could he. Babies. A Mommy.
Frank Rzucek was in touch with those girls throughout their short lives, every single day by facetime. He and Sandy would join them at the dinner table, joking and eating with the kids at the same time. I'll never forget his face in that courtroom. God bless him, Sandy and Frankie Jr.

If there's such a thing as a picture of grief, it's that shot of Frank R in the courtroom seen by the world. I will remember it for all the days of my life.

Can’t believe 3 years have passed. Shanann, Bella. Cece and Nico 4 beautiful souls stolen from this world in an act of complete betrayal and evil. I don’t even want to discuss ‘him’ anymore, Shanann and her babies should be here now it makes me so angry still. If angels are real I hope they wrap their wings around the Rzucek family over the coming days.

This is one case that will stay with me forever

Per that author, in his own book, the only principals he consulted with were the Watts family. The rest he got from discovery. That book might as well be titled "All my broken pieces ReDux". It has so many errors in it. IMO

I wonder what the child actresses who played CeCe and Bella for Lifetime will think of the real girls once they are old enough to fathom what happened in real life.
I don't think I'd put my own children (if I had any young ones) in that type of film, where they end up murdered whether by their own father or some other freak. I just don't know what I would tell them, surely they had to get some counseling of some sort ahead of time? It would have to be anticipated that other kids would tease them....."I heard you were murdered by your play Daddy on TV!!!" IMO

When I was in high school, one of my classmates left school for a month to film a made for tv movie. I went to a catholic all girls private school at this time and we were 14/15. LA was clear across the country and we were all so jealous and starstruck. The night the show aired everyone was excited to see her performance, the nuns were even talking about sitting down to watch it too. It was a huge event...like we had a celebrity in our midst. The only scene of hers that didn't get cut was a brutal rape scene. It was dead quiet at school the next day...like no one would dare talk about it. When she did finally talk about it, she told us there were hours upon hours of film that didn't make the cut, all sorts of normal scenes, family scenes, lots of lines. She was just as shocked as we were. But I was always kinda side eyeing her - like you were old enough to know what that one scene was. Ya should have warned the nuns! But she was focused on all the OTHER filming they did because that's what she liked. She just assumed the other stuff would be in the film too. Anyway, I think the girls who played Bella and CeCe will remember the fun stuff of the filming, not the sad stuff.

Still, in my home country of Australia, when Australian child actresses have played Jane and Arnna Beaumont, or Amara and Katrina Mackenzie for some dramatised recon, I always wonder about the mental toll after the actress girls find out just what happened to those four little ladies :(
