This case is especially hard on me because I could so see myself in Barry and Suzanne....very attractive well dressed people who seemed to "have it all'.

Behind the scense however, my ex was a total control freak, even listened in on phone conversations (this was before cell phones) and followed me at times to make sure I was where I said I was going. Always thought I was screwing around on him with NO EVIDENCE. I really loved him and tried to reassure him but after about 4 years I gave up and got out.

Lundy Bancroft writes a great book about the experience it is called "Why Does He Do That?"

I read it over many times and it opened my eyes.

I wonder if he mailed in an absentee ballot for Suzanne and forged her signature. Could he get around this by saying that he had POA for her? I don't know the voting laws.

In any case, I hope that they pile on the charges of everything that he has done to break the law, no matter how small.

JMO.
BBM: Interesting- October 22, 2020 - May 13, 2021? What happened after his arrest?

But what would be the point?
Just thinking off the top of my head, wasn't the District Attorneys election in early November 2020. Maybe BM voted twice, once at the PP house and then registered to vote again at his Poncha Springs condo address. Looks like he registered to vote (again) on October 22, 2020.

Would not shock me if he wanted to retain the previous DA, the one that was reluctant to bring charges.... He might have had something important at stake in those elections. What other Chaffee County elected offices were also on the November 2020 ballot?

JMO, MOO

I don't know that is what puzzles me, but I'm following the Vallow/Daybell case closely and that is how that one is being handled, lots of minor charges to keep them behind bars while they assemble the grand jury to indict them

but if the case is strong like the DA says it is why the minor charges and if it has anything to do with Suzanne’s murder wouldn’t it have the same case number?

How was Barry able to sell PP? I heard he got guardianship in Indiana but didn't hear anything about Colorado.
JMO.
My question is why anyone would want to buy PP knowing that a possible homicide had recently occurred there? It sold pretty quickly and not far from asking price.

Guardianship is an interesting issue though....

I just suddenly feel compelled to eat that one kernel of popcorn that fell out of the bowl onto the floor even though the entire bowl is full......boy oh boy, what is he thinking! moo

Wow, those charges are through today. So, what did BM do yesterday that caused new charges?
