#BarryMorphew just walked into the courtroom wearing a grey suit and was holding an orange envelope and other papers. NEW: A sign in the courtroom that reads, "There is to be no communication between the persons in the gallery (visitors in the courtroom) and defendants.

Maybe adding all the men was a tit for tat move. Suzanne did comment about all the women he had on his social media, so adding male friends was a big % you to Barry.

I just think of how innocent and normal it is to have high school friends on FB.. men and women. Nothing suspicious about that in a normal healthy marriage. I keep up with many people from high school that way. If Barry had always controlled that and limited how many "friends" she had or maybe it was a subtle as him questioning her about it when she did add men, then maybe she avoided that to avoid conflict. Those who have encountered someone like him learn to try to prevent arguments before they can happen. Maybe after telling him she was definitely done and it's over, she decided to just add whoever she wanted. She likely already had many female friends on FB from high school and the only ones really left were the men.

Also, just a reminder that the FBI agent stated last prelim that BM had texted the Salida Spa and Stove owner on Friday, May 8:

#BarryMorphew had a convo with Janelle and Colton Nebal at the store, according to Neilsen. She is questioning Agent Grusing on his timeline. On May 8, Morphew sent a message to Colton around 1:18 p.m. about getting his hot tub fixed. Asking when he could come out to the home.

Barry Morphew murder case: Bullet found next to Suzanne Morphew's bed

Law enforcement found a live .22-caliber round next to Suzanne Morphew’s bed and a needle cap used with a tranquilizer gun in the dryer of the home she shared with her husband in the days after she disappeared, investigators testified in a court hearing in her husband’s murder case Monday morning.

Prosecutors during the hearing also played body camera footage that showed Barry Morphew inside the family’s home on May 10, 2020 — the evening his wife was reported missing. Sheriff’s deputies escorted Morphew inside so they could get an item of his wife’s clothing for tracking dogs. Undersheriff Andy Rohrich said Monday that Morphew acted oddly while they were in the house that evening. It was the first time Barry Morphew had been inside the home since his wife’s reported disappearance and he did not try to look around.

“He’s not even trying to call her phone,” Rohrich said. “This is the last place, according to his testimony, that he’s seen his wife alive and he’s not asking any questions.”

When Jeff Lindsey stated that the last two days were the meat and potatoes, is there any chance he meant the last two days of this hearing ??

Which is more typical for the prosecution at a preliminary: Present your best evidence at the beginning or towards the then ??
 
I don't put much stock in the fact that the deputy didn't measure the scratch marks. That can be digitally done using the photos....LE graphic artists can do a more accurate measurement than the deputy could with a tape measure.

I just wish she had consulted a lawyer first and followed their advise. This "upping the stakes" gamesmanship (apparently on both sides of this marriage) is absolutely like playing with matches around the TNT barrels.

So insightful. Couple that with the bikini photo, magical days, 2 hours of coffee at the neighbors, and signs of forced entry into the master bedroom.

Wasn't Suzanne part of a class or group educating or teaching about domestic violence?
I read that many threads back. If so, wouldn't she know not to "up the stakes" in her own situation?
