I'm just trying to play devil's advocate here. I think he's guilty in some way but I don't have enough that I think warrants a trial.

To me 'REAL' evidence is bM's DNA on a weapon or body or places it shouldn't be, video evidence of him disposing a body, A CRIME SCENE, a murder weapon with a direct link to bM, blood or DNA evidence in bM's truck, home, hotel room, video of him purchasing a murder weapon or something to help him in the murder or disposal of a body, an audio recording of him harming SM, DIRECT evidence of a blatant lie, computer forensics of internet searches that indicate anything related to a crime, phone evidence of threatening messages, phone records that prove statements he made are false, WITNESSES!!!, mistresses coming forward, evidence of past violence, CCTV of him doing something illegal or catching him in a lie, an accomplice coming forward, an admission of a crime, a body or parts of a body, a money trail that indicates a crime, paperwork that incriminates him.....I could go on but I think you get the idea.

There is none of that here. After over a year there isn't any hard, real evidence that bM did anything illegal. Fishy, yes. Illegal no. I said this earlier you can't try a guy for being a jerk.

Right now all I see is some evidence of a truck computer being reset, a few time stamps and GPS readings that may or may not be accurate, and a narcissist who thinks the world should revolve around him. I also see a woman who is having an affair, who may have a drug and alcohol problem, who has admitted that she wanted to take off and disappear to Ecuador because of a failed marriage and who used a spy pen to spy on her devoted husband ( ok that made me want to puke and I'm sorry I typed it but that's how the defense is going to spin things) There's more hard evidence of Suzanne being dishonest and shady then there is of bM being dishonest and shady. At least from the stuff that has been presented in court so far.

I hate that I think this way but I'm putting myself in the position of being a juror and so far, I'm not seeing anything that makes me think he killed her 100%.
A Colorado jury recently found Kelsie Schelling’s killer guilty of murder in the first degree. There was no body, no blood, no dna, no witnesses, and no accomplices. He was convicted due in large part to cellphone data.

Thank you to all that worked so hard to keep up and provide tweets today (@MassGuy, @osu, @Emi amd all others I may have forgotten).

There are videos of BM hand pics showing cuts and bruising taken by a you tuber about 1-2 weeks after SM was reported missing that are still floating around out there. I was looking for a close up of that left shoulder but I couldn’t see anything with the camera angles. I’m curious for @NoSI ’s opinion on these pics shown today if it looked like nail scratches. Let us know your opinion when you have time.
YouTuber who ‘secretly’ recorded video of Barry Morphew discussing wife’s disappearance says he believes Suzanne Morphew’s husband knew the camera was on

I think the bigger question is, if she supposedly went "Gone Girl" why would she leave her purse, her ID, her wallet, her health insurance card, her medications and so on behind?

Why would she abandon her daughters with no word? Why would she not wait until after her medical appointment? Why would she not wait until the Indiana sale money came through?

Why would she disappear and not return or make contact when her father was on his deathbed? And if she needed money while gone to fuel her drug/alcohol habit, why did she not at least show up to claim her inheritance?

Yep. Agree. Totally weak. MOO all of the defense hole poking is weak.

Sharing a Plate. If BM & SM Did It, Anyone Can.

Aww, c'mon, @MrsWatson . Just like sharing a shake at the malt shop.;):D
You know: Arnold’s Drive-In at Happy Days shows.
Or comic strips w Archie, Betty, & the Riverdale High School gang at the Chok'lit Shoppe.

Just like they used to at Gene's Root Beer Stand (no doubt "on the house").

Today was quite the day. Not exactly what I was expecting. I’m not even sure what I did expect. Maybe a smoking gun?

I didn’t see any direct evidence but all those quotes from BM were priceless! He really thought he could make things up as he went along and everyone would fall for it.

Msybe he was used to always getting his way. Suzanne and the girls had to let him be in control. I’m sure he has manipulated his own mother and sister. I guess all the good old boys who were hunting buddies were so used to his bs that they never made what he said an issue.

Then he ran up against some LE who were just a whole lot smarter than he gave them credit for. They saw his bs immediately.
Just listening to all his stories and contradictions would make you realize how guilty this guy is.

I really want to see that AA.

Did they know one another perhaps?

BM was a volunteer firefighter, they had lived in the area for a couple of years .... smallish town, lots of people know one another in passing, just a thought
No they didn’t know each other prior. BM just thinks very highly of himself, so anyone that’s “cool” with him, he automatically thinks they’re bros..

They’ve set it up to deliver their theory tomorrow, but I think that’s going to wind up being close. Looks like she may have run to the master bedroom and he kicked the door in.

The garage safe is actually pretty common, as I think it was a gun safe.
Still never heard of a safe in the garage..even a gun safe. I'll have to look that up.:)
Anyway, so sad for Suzanne...oh and Barry's gps didn't have him running through walls...he ran up the stairs.
What a nightmare for her.:(

My wife leaves her purse in the car at home in the garage.

I think she’s crazy for doing that but that’s what she does.
She can leave her purse in the car but if you’re doing a Gone Girl it’s a good idea to take every last dime of available cash. And at least plan it for after your last oncology appointment.

And adding my most important detail-never sleep in a bed with 22 caliber shells.
