I had to look up this new publication!
Almost 50 yrs of both Denver & Colorado Springs area newspaper reading, a new one surprised me, had never heard of Den Gazette, launched in August it appears

Lance is the court reporter and I recall posting this in Gannon's thread. I was pleased as the DP paywall makes me tired!

New Denver online newspaper being launched by Colorado Springs Gazette owner

8:43 AM · Aug 26, 2020

My thought suddenly: Did perhaps BM threaten a lot of people (Indiana/Colorado), who were willing to search with AM, because there are much less people in the AM-search team than previously assumed? He had enough time to do that. MOO
I'm really curious if any of his fellow firemen are participating in the search.

Feeling the need to note that Sept 14th is first launch of the brand new source of news.
A bit skeptical ?

Former Colorado Sun, CS Gazette & Denver Post staff involved from a quick look at recent Denver Business Journal report but need to hunt further before trusting 100%
I trust the author, so I don’t care much about the publication itself.

She’s very well respected, and is followed by 16 journalists I’m following on Twitter. The helmet makes complete sense too, as it had to have been missing from the home to sell the bike ride.

Barry also referenced it in the note he scribbled.

Yes, as per Andy on PE last night, they are working with:
Drones, horses, ATVs, today they're bringing in the dogs to search more pertinent areas. trying to get cameras to lower into mines etc.
Godspeed Andy and co! May today be the day!!

Very smart! And very smart, to release nothing (poor us). IMO, there is more to it than only "avarice, greed" because of a pending divorce. Important would be perhaps, WHY Suzanne filed for divorce or would have filed for divorce. Something BIG (evil? dirty?) must have happened in 2017, and that would have been still in Indiana, before their move to Colorado.
FYI,

We have no evidence of a pending divorce or that Suzanne had or was going to file for divorce. There was speculation by her brother that he thought she "might be headed for divorce." (he speculated this based on his conversations with the friend she was texting and learning all may not have been going well in the marriage).

This is, unfortunately, how rumors gets started that then take on a life of their own. IMO.

MOO I think SM functioned in that capacity for their entire marriage. Now that she's gone, he lost. Guess he just didn't realize how much he needed her...

MOO I don't think it's drugs. Since early August I have wondered about a connection to Indiana's multi-million dollar Medicaid Kickback Scheme which might explain the quick involvement of a federal DA and the FBI. I was skimming the 8/4/2020 Indianapolis Star articles about it and happened to see that a landscaper was involved. Barry sold his small landscaping company before retirement age for a million plus a percentage. Hmmm...

Indiana nursing home fraud claims more extensive than previously known

Well then. Hmmm indeed.
I didn't realize there was a federal DA involved in SM's case.
Sheriff Spezze mentioned in one of the CCSO updates that the FBI was involved due to their evidence specialists, extending their resources in that area for assistance.
This is very interesting information though.

Does it seem strange to anyone else that Andy has not spoken with his nieces?
That's a fair question. In normal circumstances I would say yes, it's odd.

But after four months of peeling layers off Barry's façade and learning some of the possible dynamics of the marriage & family. It's not odd at all.

Hopefully after he's arrested, the damage can be repaired and relationship restored. The oldest looks so much like her Mom, she is a beautiful reminder of all things Suzanne.

JMVHO, AM has been providing us with an enormous amount of info, some old, but shared with a brother’s perception. Some definitely new...
LE has been so tight lipped with all of this evidence, yet now they are ok with it all being released?
I have to agree with everyone, an arrest seems eminent...
Just remember, I’ve been defending BM, here, but I really was defending SM, I’ve so wanted to believe that she had the fairy tale life portrayed, not the horror tale suspected.
It won’t wound my pride, but it will break my heart, when an arrest is made...

I have appreciated your posts when you don't have BM as the bad guy every single time. I personally like discussions when new media info is released and someone looks at it a different way, with not the usual suspect in the narrative. I find it refreshing. IMO

Yeah, there must be a reason why Andy thinks she was abducted, unless he misspoke. It implies that Suzanne was lured or tricked into going somewhere while she was alive as opposed to being killed in her home.

It would make sense, since BM wouldn't want to leave evidence behind in the home and it would look like someone else could have taken her while she was out on a bike ride.
I don't believe AM thinks she was abducted. I believe that was either a (really bad) typo or a misstatement on AM's part (understandable, he must be exhausted). AM continues to say everything points back to the house.... MOO, JMO

Not really, not to me at least. Andy knows just how difficult and awkward this is for them. They support their dad. Likely BM has set up a “us against them” dynamic in the home. It’s awkward and painful for AM and awkward for his nieces and he fully understands that. I have no doubt he thinks of them each day, and worries how this horrible event has affected them.

Too bad their father isn’t as considerate about their emotional well being as their uncle Andy is. Andy is pure gold. BM is the lowest of the base metals. ALL JMHO.

I thought, way back in the beginning, that maybe he lured her out to the wilderness somewhere by suggesting a hike or picnic and then killed her. So much rugged terrain out there. But how would that explain the bleach smell in the house? Something that needed serious clean up happened in that house, if indeed the house did smell strongly of bleach.

I've got no reason to doubt anything AM has said, so I believe the house smelled of bleach.
Just a guess--perhaps BM shot Suzanne someplace away from their home. Then, he went home and used bleach to remove the gunshot residue to cover his butt.

Yes. If you look at the context of all his statements, to include that one, he believes Suzanne was murdered, and her body dumped in a remote location.

This seems crystal clear to me:

“I think that she was abducted. I don’t think she ever got on her bike. I think she probably died Saturday and she was hidden somewhere Saturday night and we’re pushing forward and that’s the theories that we have right now that seem to be correct,” shared Moorman.

Well a mountain lion certainly didn't take off SM's helmet and carry it to wherever it was found, which IIRC was somewhere around .25 to .3 mi from where her bike was found.

So by tossing her helmet there, that brings in an abduction scenario that is in conflict with and muddies his "cat got her" scenario.
