Side topic: Since we should and mostly do use initials, I made a list of some key players in the case. I was getting confused, so I made myself a reference sheet. All have been referenced in MSM.

Sharing as perhaps it may help others or those new to the case.

I totally agree. My husband is a high level executive and has been known to leave early in the morning and drive for five hours to get to an afternoon meeting.

There were at least two rooms rented, confirmed by JP & MG. Makes no sense, especially in light of the fact that the workers had nothing to do early Monday morning. It’s wasn’t until almost 6 pm Sunday that Barry’s plans for Broomfield prep changed. What was Barry going to do on Sunday night that would get the site ready for early early Monday?

He threw BOTH theories out there and very cavalierly I might add. Tossing around the notion that cats drag their "prey" uphill... aka: the love of his life, his beloved, mother of his children, his wife. Perhaps he was in shock, we still have little evidence, and I for one, believe in innocent until proven guilty, it doesn’t matter how we parse his words and dissect his actions, it doesn’t matter that we have the ok to pound him, as long as there is any smidgeon of doubt, we should be allowed to look for alternatives....

Exactly.
MOO, he did not go and get ready for a job Monday. It wasn't ready by late in the day, and so would not be ready Monday.
MOO he was exhausted. Possibly from being up all night, and just fell asleep for a few hours Sunday.

If Barry did the FB friend requests at midnight, I’d bet his internet connection is recorded somewhere. If from her account, he had to know her log in credentials or they were set on automatic. I’d bet he doesn’t know her login password off the top of his head. So he’d have to be at home. On the house computer. Or on her phone which would ping at that time. Tech help needed here.

And didn’t he say whoever did it sent friend requests to all men his age? What’s up with that? Was he trying to make it look like she was talking to a bunch of men so he could say she ran off with one or maybe I completely misheard that.

IIRC it wasn't it reported that she appeared as a "suggestion" to all BMs friends that she was not friends with? Rather than an assertive requests.

Anything is possible but if that is the case, he still comes across as the most uncaring spouse of someone he claims to be the love of his life. I had a horrible marriage and I think my crazy ex would show more concern than he has.

IMO , we have a much simpler, closer to home scenario, that doesn’t involve BM.
Who stands to gain, financially, if SM is declared dead?
Who would have gained, if the entire Morphew family had been present on MD?

BM acted like he was a defense attorney from the beginning offering an array of alternative theories.

Standard Defenses:

It was't me and you can't be sure it was me, and here are a bunch of alternative theories.

It was me but it was self defense, stand my ground, I was drunk/high etc.

I also consider BM telling LE and LS that he left at 5 am and Suzanne was asleep but knowing he left earlier and was texting people another sign of his stupidity. Duh! Didn’t he know LE would check his phone and that would be easily proven to be a lie? I guess he really did think they would buy the abduction story hook, line & sinker and never suspect him! Big mistake, HUGE!

Doing a crime, no time to cover. Mistakenly believed he’d never be the one caught. All kinds of stupid here.

It's actually both:

FB friends of BM report seeing SM show up in their "PYMK" or "Friend Suggestions" that weekend. This was consistent across multiple (6 or more) FB friends of BM that were not FB friends with SM and was new activity Mother's Day weekend.

Additionally, sometime late Saturday evening (actually, the DW is trying to pin the timing of this down as she knows a couple of these individuals) some of AMs FB friends received "friend requests" from SM.

I believe the consensus on here (thanks to @EggSalad for contributing on this) was that the first event was triggered by an algorithm. The most logical trigger for that would have been someone logging into FB from BM's phone.

You're right about the second event (the friend requests) would not be based on an algorithm, but instead would have been triggered by someone in SMs FB account manually choosing to send friend requests. My speculation on that is if that someone was logged in as SM and wanting to show some activity, they may have liked some of AMs posts or posts AM was tagged in. I believe doing this would possibly put AMs friends in SMs PYMK or friend suggestion lists, and that same person clicked on those to send the friend requests (unaware or too panicked to realize how odd this would appear). I can't think of any reason why someone would specifically look up AMs friends to send friend requests to, so that's why I believe what I do.

It's all speculation, of course, but hope that helps. MOO, JMO.

And this article states that Cassidy Cordova was also hired to do the Broomfield job, but declined to be interviewed. Unless all three bunked in that one bleachy room, I’m going with a minimum of two rooms. I had also thought it was inferred that Barry intended to be in Broomfield for a number of days, which might have added to the room total. I don’t believe any of it. There was some conversation about whether or not Cassidy and Morgan shared a room, but no definitive answer.

MOO -- I think BM isn't alone at the Puma Path residence.
The daughters are with someone else at the condo BM had rented, but do we know who is with BM at the original home ?

What would be the motive for stranger abduction? Steal a housewife? Seems way too far fetched for me. Possible, yes. Probable, nope!
