Is this guy being looked at for TW?
Not ATM, just 2 in Loveland but not the other unsolved shootings in N Co nor TW. The similarities between the Loveland bike attempted shooting and TW's case are a reason to keep it in mind IMO.

NOTHING from LE on TW? No demand from his local biker friends for an update from LE?? He is off John Q. Public's mind that quickly or is there something they know of being worked on behind the scenes or ... ???

I think maybe people thought it was DN and didn't follow it after he was arrested so they think it was "solved" back then. Just a guess, who knows.

Hope it's okay to post this here....

Thank you Niner. It's so nice of you to keep us posted on the court proceedings. I really appreciate it, and I know others do too!

I think it's unbelievable that his unsolved murder doesn't make the news but his stolen artwork does.

And then I wonder if Tim would prefer it that way.

Seems by what I read that he was that kind of guy.

There is so much to read there.

Some bullet points: Nations is still not excluded.

“It would be nice if he gave a truthful statement to police," Smith said. "That's about the best thing he could do for himself, to exclude himself."

The last substantive tip came a month ago. What was that tip?

Also, never before reported, was that TW Camped outside the night before he was shot.

The dive of the grave was tiny.

Also, there have been multiple POI’s.

There is also a detailed map of where the evidence was found.

Attached are pics of the map and the shallow grave from the Gazette article.

Notations on the map
There's the place where Watkins' clipless, PEARL iZUMi size 42 shoe was found still buckled and strapped tight, resting upright on Mount Herman Road.

Another point on the map a half-mile northwest is where his cell phone case, his Safeway membership card and a few other scattered items from his wallet were found.
Meeker moves his finger east, resting on a hillside above Limbaugh Canyon that seemingly would be impossible to reach with a car, truck or SUV.
There, Meeker says, Watkins' custom-made, titanium hardtail mountain bike was found off-trail.
Watkins' body was about 50 feet to the north, wedged in a roughly 4-by-3-foot hole in a densely forested hillside.

Respectfully, just a correction Daey. Though sometimes he camped out, the last night before he disappeared he spent at home with his wife, the next morning (and last time she saw him) was her birthday.

"Sometimes, he camped in the hills west of Mount Herman. But the night before his disappearance, he asked if he could come home. Ginger said yes. ...The following morning - her birthday - she woke up around 5 a.m. Barely awake, Tim Watkins turned over long enough to say "Happy Birthday," and "I'll see you tonight," she recalled.
...She left for work. He went for a ride."

His wife must be so thankful she said yes for him to come home that last night. And he was shot on her birthday. What a sad story - LE must find out who did this dreadful murder. So there was a bullet hole in the wheel of the bike and I note DN is still one of "multiple" POI's.

So what happened a month ago? Mid March that would be.

(Eta just checked - probably coincidence but A&L thread closed 15th March )
