The King and Queen are gearing up for an important tour to Australia and Samoa in the autumn - their first major overseas trip since news of Charles's cancer was announced.

The King and Queen will go on tour to Australia and then Samoa - for a state visit and then the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting - from October 18 to 26, Buckingham Palace says. In Australia they’ll visit Sydney and Canberra.
