Unless you take the wet cotton gloves off and wash your hands.Well, if you are touching something wet, cotton gloves are not going to do you any good.
It was on my list! But I got the hell out of a target due to all the jerks coughing in there.
I've never heard it called that, but that is the philosophy. Is that like what used to be called Just in Time Inventory?
I've suspected the same thing. All these people showing up for medical care the DAY after they arrive in the country? They should prosecute them if they manage to spread it to others.
Thursday of this last week after a quick stop for groceries, two ladies proceeded to get out of their vehicles with face masks. The older gentleman with them wasn’t wearing a mask and didn’t seem to want to wear one.I'm afraid that people might become overly anxious and stressed if they're going about their lives and start to see many people wearing masks. I get a very uncomfortable feeling when I see media reports from China with practically everyone wearing a mask, and this was long before we were even aware of the COVID-19 outbreak. Here in the United States, we're not accustomed to seeing people out and about wearing protective masks, and I'm afraid that it could cause undue panic. Until we're instructed by government and/or medical personnel to wear protective masks when out in public, it's probably best to follow current directives.
Surgeon General Urges the Public to Stop Buying Face Masks
I am really noticing that at Costco today. And, I am skipping the samples.

This was occurred in Everett, Washington.
"What proved even more deadly was the government policy toward the truth ... Committee on Public Information wrote “Truth and falsehood are arbitrary terms....The force of an idea lies in its inspirational value. It matters very little if it is true or false.”
At Wilson’s urging ... Government posters and advertisements urged people to report to the Justice Department anyone “who spreads pessimistic stories ...”
I have a ton of toothbrushes from all my dentist appointments. They give me one every time/ every 6 months.
BBMEach firefighter is believed to have possibly come in contact with the coronavirus at Life Care Center.
Now the situation has resources being stretched thin.
In my opinion. Emergency workers should have been wearing masks before entering Life Care Center. I know standard
emergency procedure is to wear gloves but with the possible exposure to the coronavirus it also should've been
in place.
I know. I'm due for a cleaning in 2 weeks............Oh dear, dentist appts.... hmmmm
Oh dear, dentist appts.... hmmmm
Its amazing how many different areas of potential infection transfer there is out there when you really start to think about it.
Forgot about Dentist Appts till it was mentioned.
I also can’t understand why he wasn’t wearing protection the less being a maskBBM
There’s a news photo of the patient being wheeled out of Life Care Center on a gurney. One woman is wearing a mask and a gown but a man in a t-shirt is covering the patient with a sheet...no protection. I almost posted it last night it shocked me so much. I said it earlier and I’ll say it again...We’re on our own, folks.
Thanks BDE. Please report back when DH returns with his Costco report.DH just left for his regular Sunday swim and plans to go to Costco later today. I'm not a big fan of "big box" stores and rarely accompany him. I look forward to DH's report about shortages of food, cleaning products, health/beauty aids that might be noticeable while he's making his way around the store. There's nothing on our shortlist beyond a few of our usual Costco purchases: paper towels and toilet paper, deodorant, Palmolive dish liquid, mouth rinse, Clorox wipes, pasta sauce. Health/beauty aids and household necessities are purchased on a rotating basis when needed, and we rarely buy perishable food at Costco other than their fabulous Sockeye salmon.
DH continues to stockpile Primal Roots - our favorite red wine. He found four bottles at our local CVSNo one knows if or when the lovely red blend will be available again in our area.
