I took him to CVS for a PCR test. Thankfully no doctors order needed and it was free.I know of several people who had covid symptoms yet kept testing negative on a home test. PCR tests are only done here for specific folks now. Not the public in general. Ontario Canada.
Right, there is no telling. The PCR test he had today also covered flu. And we have a call in to the doctor. Thought was, if this is Covid, he will be approaching the 5 day window if a anti-viral was indicated.I’ve seen many negatives on rapid tests at work with the crew reporting only a minor symptom that day only to test positive the next morning on a PCR test.
Fatigue, fever, just feeling off - any or none could be Covid. Not everyone has the same symptoms. Or it could be something else that his doctor needs to check out?
Especially if he’s feeling really bad.

I’ve tested at CVS in multiple states and found that if the CVS has a Minute Clinic inside the store - you go in and do the test.I had no idea CVS does PCR testing: Hoping your husband begins to feel better. Please let us know the result of the test and how hubby is doing. As people here have discussed, symptoms seem to vary a lot from person to person----I think cases are ticking up here In Michigan. May have to go back to wearing masks, which I have not been doing in Florida where the cases are much lower at the present time.

If not, you drive up to the pharmacy drive thru window and the swab kit is given to you via drawer. You swab your own nose and return via the drawer. Walgreens has the same procedure via their pharmacy drive up window.

The flu is going around here pretty good more than usual for this time of year. (Northeast US)
Why are cases of the flu rising in Mass. at a time they are usually falling?

I’m sorry I posted imo without a link. Here’s one of many articles. Very interesting imoThis article touches upon the hepatitis outbreak and the possible links to kids not exposed to other viruses due to the pandemic. Please note, this is not a comment either way on masking. <modsnip>
Hepatitis cases in children might be linked to adenovirus, UK health officials report - CNN
Just to add, I am NOT against masking the elderly or anyone else who is wanting to protect themselves or if they have prior health conditions. The new info coming out is interesting to me is all. I’m not being negative only interested in the new findings.I’m sorry I posted imo without a link. Here’s one of many articles. Very interesting imo
