I’ve seen many negatives on rapid tests at work with the crew reporting only a minor symptom that day only to test positive the next morning on a PCR test.

Fatigue, fever, just feeling off - any or none could be Covid. Not everyone has the same symptoms. Or it could be something else that his doctor needs to check out?
Especially if he’s feeling really bad.
Right, there is no telling. The PCR test he had today also covered flu. And we have a call in to the doctor. Thought was, if this is Covid, he will be approaching the 5 day window if a anti-viral was indicated.

I had no idea CVS does PCR testing: Hoping your husband begins to feel better. Please let us know the result of the test and how hubby is doing. As people here have discussed, symptoms seem to vary a lot from person to person----I think cases are ticking up here In Michigan. May have to go back to wearing masks, which I have not been doing in Florida where the cases are much lower at the present time.

The flu is going around here pretty good  more than usual for this time of year. (Northeast US)
Why are cases of the flu rising in Mass. at a time they are usually falling?

I’ve tested at CVS in multiple states and found that if the CVS has a Minute Clinic inside the store - you go in and do the test.
If not, you drive up to the pharmacy drive thru window and the swab kit is given to you via drawer. You swab your own nose and return via the drawer. Walgreens has the same procedure via their pharmacy drive up window.

UMass Chan launching study of at-home COVID-19 tests
More at link

UMass Chan Medical School is seeking participants to learn about the performance of the newest at-home tests for detecting COVID-19

The participants may be based anywhere in the United States, except for Arizona due to laboratory limitations.

“These studies will provide the necessary data to confirm performance of new rapid antigen tests,” said Hafer in a press release. “Bringing more high-quality tests to the U.S. consumer continues to be a priority for our study team.”

For the early phase of the study, researchers are seeking out participants experiencing symptoms which are consistent with that of COVID-19

Those interested in potentially being a part of the study need to download the MyDataHelps app and enter the code RCCZFS to see if they are eligible to join.

So sorry to hear that your husband is not feeling well. I hope he receives prompt treatment for whatever is ailing him and that he recovers quickly.

I’m sorry I posted imo without a link. Here’s one of many articles. Very interesting imo
Just to add, I am NOT against masking the elderly or anyone else who is wanting to protect themselves or if they have prior health conditions. The new info coming out is interesting to me is all. I’m not being negative only interested in the new findings.
