I feel the same and after a week of feeling that way, pretty sure it's not CoVid (loss of appetite is a symptom). OTOH, maybe we both have a mild case. Which would be awesome. I also have a cough but I have allergies so that's fairly normal. I need to lose weight and in fact, seem to be doing so.

Other than feeling anxiety and stress, I am doing good. Just not hungry at all. I can wear rings that I couldn't for the past several years. I have been living in pajamas for weeks. So I haven't tried on real pants yet. Lol

Yes. We are all being segregated. I hope the awesome Mods re-consider or let us vote on the issue? With all due respect.

i agree.... roll and scroll..or scroll and roll works so well on this site.... We could be directed to make the heading align with ...say... 1 -f 10 topics. then we could sc-roll even faster!

I feel my support group scattering about. :(

Yes, I like to maintain a more global awareness. I think it's important to keep us all together. One person's comment from SC triggers another comment from the UK and that brings some news from NY. Mods, can we please keep together?

On a positive note - I'm learning more about the world. I had no idea that Florida had a higher population than NY. My goodness, where to they all live? I thought Florida was just 'gators, swamp and Disney. :D

all of us who knew we should be wearing masks all along

Exactly.

We are in the high risk group so my hubby, and I have been wearing them when it's been absolutely necessary for us to go out in public.

We were lucky because my hubby already had three cases of N95 masks in his shop for his own business needs. We use them sparingly. He had also purchased hundreds of gloves never knowing they would be needed now.

Since I have been sick, and trying to recover from my recent hospital stay he is the one who goes if it's necessary and he wears both in public making sure he takes them off outside throwing them in our outside trashcan then he immediately uses hand sanitizer. Once inside he immediately goes to wash his face, and hands again.

We are trying very hard to take every precaution we possibly can. Our children are doing the same. They buy us needed items then place them outside on our patio table knowing they must socially distance themselves from us, although it's been extremely hard on them keeping their distance. They are in constant contact with us by Skype, texts, and many phone calls.

Once we get the items we thoroughly clean each item. They are doing the same within their own family homes.

I wish everyone would do the same.

Its those who do not that will continue to spread the virus.

My heart breaks for all of the healthcare and first responder heroes on the frontline who are contracting the virus.

I am so proud of the healthcare workers from Georgia. Many have flown to NYC to help those there in need. I hope others will do the same when other states or cities are also in great need of healthcare workers.

Same here. Since being sick in early January (regular flu I suspect), I'm down 12 pounds. Stress has always been the only way I can lose weight. Not the best technique, but I'll take the positives with any negatives right now. At this rate, I'll soon be at the weight I was in high school.

how do you even know this... how do we find this out?????? So..this means we cannot learn what is going on in other states where we have loved ones???

I've and others have posted moved to other threads. So, I ask a staff member. Many new threats have been set up.

I can't get a direct yes or no, if we post of this thread about another state or country if it will be moved.

Its just to many threads for me to even think about. Must less, we lose touch with our friends on this thread. I liked sharing state, national and international news, but do understand when threads change.

Will check in periodical to see how folks are....

I'm a smoker, too - where I'm from they've prohibited the sale of both cigarettes and alcohol, classed as non essential items. We got less than 24 hours notice that cigarettes were to be added to non essential items and by the time I got to the shops they were sold out! Managed to get a few packets but am going to run out unless I drastically cut down!
Oh no! Good luck to you.

Anyone else not eating? I noticed it has been coming on the past week. Nothing sounds good. I would rather sleep through lunch than bother with it. I need to lose weight, so maybe this is a good thing.

Me. And I'm making myself sick from not eating. Let's try to be diligent about our health. I have some arrhythmia issues (easier than explaining) and I'm a mess today. Jmo

The affect on people’s mental health is going to be catastrophic. Watch the scripts for antidepressant medication go right up, watch the suicide rate go up, watch couples end up getting divorced because of the financial, mental and physical strain this is putting on the world.

Here in the UK we’ve had atleast 2 nhs nurses commit suicide, there’s been 2 murder suicides involving families and there has been murders, a nhs worker killed and these have happened in the space of a few days. Mental health services are likely to be understaffed right now meaning that some people aren’t going to get the support they need. Once this lock down is over I imagine there will be even more murders and suicides are going to be discovered. How many people who live completely alone and their only escape is work now have no job to go to for the time being and long lonely days in isolation, some of these people have no family and would only be noticed missing if they didn’t turn up to work. These are the people I’m concerned for right now. The ones who have no one to turn to during this worrying uncertain time. Mental illness can drag you to some really dark places when you’re alone with your thoughts.

Exercising outside alone or with your family is allowed and perfectly fine! Our state parks are open for that reason. The other day my family of four drove an hour and did a 4 hour hike and drove straight home after. It was great and good for us. Never interacted with anyone. I haven’t heard of any “stay at home” orders not allowing for outside exercise, including riding bikes.

DH and I have been taking daily walks through our neighborhood. When we see someone walking towards us, we veer away from them, keeping the requisite 6-foot distance.

I refuse to stay cooped up in my house because of this thing.

JMVHO.

And what county are you in Lilibet??? I asked @Squinchy about her county too...because I am trying to get updates on sonoma county. My sis-in-law is in a real small town..and I worry about her all the time...but just wondered 'what the gist" is with those counties north of SF.
@nhmemorymaker I am in Humboldt county
