That would make perfect sense for it going through the post office there. And maybe since it could be the same zip code, google pulled it into the GB area. On the property appraisers info I found for that address, it states "taxing authority: pensacola beach"

Also...Pensacola Beach is ESCAMBIA county, not Santa Rosa IIRC. I should know it for sure since I live in the area, but now it's fuzzy! Isn't the whole island considered Esc. Co?

According to the Escambia County Property Appraiser's website, the 1206 via de luna is owned by a last name of Phillips and is listed as a single family residential home.

Anyone remember a Phillips in the posts? If so, I'll link it to this post, otherwise, I'm not seeing a connection now.

Yep. Just do a search on this thread for Phillips and there are several posts.

Okay I am following it but I still don't get the issue w/the maritime leins and the connection to the former DCF caseworker Bledsoe w/1 million dollar lein and there were others? Can someone try to ascertain connection of this info?
There is just too much hanging out there with the copyright issues and these leins I can't figure out how this would fit w/simple robbery motive. Thanks in advance.

No, the east end past the National Seashore is Santa Rosa County, the Navarre end.

thanks for clarifying that elainebenice!:blowkiss:

ETA - So Pbeach has zip code of 32561, and the east end of the island would have a Navarre address and an entirely different zip, right? Not that any of this matters I guess.

Buried could mean hidden not just under the dirt.

So very true, especially on the beach. Just move some from the piles in everyone's yard and put it on top of a "buried" safe to help hide it.

Unless it was found at her primary address in Gulf Breeze, then I'd suspect she could have actually buried it in the dirt.

Eddins said prosecutors will ask a grand jury to indict all seven male suspects on first-degree murder charges.

First-degree murder can be either first-degree premeditated murder or first-degree murder committed during the commission of a felony — in this case, robbery.
A conviction on either carries two possible penalties: death, or life in prison without parole.

Correct. The island runs from Escambia County into Santa Rosa County with no breaks.

The far West end of the island is Ft. Pickens National Park. Then there's the Gulf Islands National Seashore (right by the dividing line of the counties). On the far East end of the island (in Santa Rosa County, at the Navarre Beach Bridge area) it is part of Eglin AFB. The road stops, but the beach continues East.

I hope they are ALL charged with the murder. I am still upset that Pamela Long Wiggins was released from Escambia County Jail on $10,000 bond---She should still be in jail and her bond should have been set much much higher and confused why it wasn't.

Exactly. Here is a link that shows the county boundaries very well between Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. I'm sure it is confusing for non-locals b/c as you can see from the map, it is definitely NOT a straight line.

ETA: The link didn't retain the zoom in I had done, so you will need to zoom in on the map to be able to see more clearly.

Nice map...and just so the rest of you know..the "Via de Luna" addresses are on the GREEN thin strip that runs West to East below the black lines and under the words GULF BREEZE.

ETA: So if you drive from Pensacola to Pensacola Beach you leave Escambia County (and Pensacola Proper/Pensacola Police Dept. jurisdiction) and enter Gulf Breeze proper (Gulf Breeze PD) inside Santa Rosa County. Then you drive a couple of miles and end up in Pensacola Beach (Escambia County/EC Sheriff's Office jurisdiction again)

And just East of Gulf Breeze proper is Santa Rosa Sheriff's Dept. jurisdiction, even though it says Gulf Breeze. It would be unincorporated areas. That's why so many local LE agencies are involved just in that area b/c of where people's addresses are.

First here is the deed the Billings purchased this property at 930 Silcox Lane on 3/28/2008

Now look at 411 listing pages:

Lists a Chelsea Staham - hope I can post this since it is in the PNJ living at the address the Billings own/owned

Now Gazelle found this on PNJ:

It is a good map if I do say so myself......;)

Its also a good map to take a look at where Beulah is located in relation to the rest of the locations being discussed.
