Can I just say that I was COMPLETELY unimpressed by the Billing's Attorney.

Not real professional to make an announcement while you seem really P*ssed Off....especially when your voice is cracking/shaky... Also, her standing and "head nodding" while Melanie's brother was speaking seemed a little out of line, too.

Just my opinion. (Has NO BEARING on anything).

I would just think that a decent attorney would appear a little more PROFESSIONAL and UNEMOTIONAL.

Just my 2 cents, that's all.....

I kind of feel like they just dumped it there, maybe with plans to get it at a later date. The mini van they used that belonged to PLW, to transport the safe & guns, she had parked at her Antique Mall that is down Hwy 98 to the east probably like 10 miles and it was parked where everyone driving by would see it. Then she went to Orange Beach, Al, which is like maybe 50 miles from her Antique Shop.

It seems like someone else, not identified, had to have picked up PLW to take her to orange beach.

My understanding is the transfer of the safe and the guns was completed near the crime scene. Pamela Wiggins was a "passenger" in her own vehicle. Was Hugh the driver? They did stop at the Antique Store before proceeding to the rental property and stacking the bricks. It's possible that at this point, they heard some news about the surveillance cameras. The original plan may have been to open the safe in the confines of a secure area within the antique store. LE has said the safe was not opened prior to retrieval. With regard to the perps "talking", LPG, Sr is also a witness in the arrest docs.

This charge could be DS's father. Arson, notice the home town=Brewton (Escambia Co Alabama, where DS was arrested).

you might want to make note of the Judge on this one. You will see that Judge in MANY cases where the person basically just walks away.

Wow...Cuban mafia...it makes sense. It's possible this is about "turf" and Billings may have been an innocent "obstacle" to a "pay to play" situation or a stolen car ring or drug smuggling enterprise.

Didn't mean anything by it. It's just pretty obvious that she is probably NOT a Trial Lawyer.

Then again, I thought the Prosecutor (whatever his name is) that keeps interjecting during the pressers is one of the WORST public speakers that I have EVER HEARD.

It also says "Arrest Report" for the Billings and lists them as "victims" in the same location on the report where it says "Rep Person" for Spencer.

She is the person who first contacted the ECSO or 911 about the crime.

Which document are you looking at? On the Arrest Report for PL it lists AS as the reporting person at the top of page 6.
