'A 15-month-old boy has died after being left unattended in a hot car on Monday, according to police in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
Police learned of the incident around 6 p.m. Monday, according to Capt. Jeff Kreitz.
It's not clear exactly how long the boy was inside the parked car, but Kreitz said in a news release he was there for "an extended period of time."
