Wow! That's a cool article with lots of info. Thanks for sharing. Some of that info was taken for the document I posted. Obviously that reservoir project was never completed, although I don't believe any of those houses are still standing (too bad...they are beautiful)! The footnote at the end of the Green Lady article stated that as of 2001 the town historian had placed the stone in the town library's basement. Not sure if it's still there. Another footnote implied that the Green Lady legend may have been started by the Spencer family in the late 19th/early 20th century; no doubt descendants of the Spencers in the cemetery!
