If she is found outside of CT and federal charges are filed, well that is a whole lot different than CT and it's laws and and penalties in a conviction.

I'm anti death penalty, but does NY still have it? CT doesn't. If NY does, there's the possibility of a plea to take it off the table.

Boston Globe started reporting the case the other day (rehash article with no news so didn't post it here) and some of the MA Patch sites just over the CT border have been actively reposting articles on their site. So, MA might be out too. The further north you go in CT the more Boston focused people become, particularly in the area of sports like Football, Hockey, Baseball etc. vs. the NY teams that are popular with people in the southern part of the state. The news feed in terms of networks also different in the southern part of the state vs northern part of CT.

My apologies in advance if these have already been noted upthread by others:

My three:

(1) ?EN? the nanny who in 2010 was present/driving the white Land Rover when FD’s mom got accidentally run over while FD supposedly was in Italy, but who apparently was never separately interviewed by police and interviewed only via FD’s language message translation and transcription >3 months following the death. I hope for many reasons that this particular nanny is still alive, that she can be located by LE, and that she can be secured/protected/properly interviewed. Why was a medically fragile elderly woman going with her young children at night to the grocery store with a non licensed driver in an unfamiliar car and why did the nanny call JD first, not 911, or run to the neighbors for help? Any neighbors interviewed before or after re that incident?

2. Relatedly, the prior “staircase” accident that befell (npi) FD’s Mom KD should be reinvestigated, available medical and pharmacy records reviewed, and details of hospital records and communication chain and release of body details following post driveway accident reviewed, as well as search for foreign accounts/corporations/insurance policies leading back to FD or an alias or alter ego there of or thru the name of that 2010 nanny or relatives of the nanny.

3. MT’s daughter’s baby daddy hopefully can get the bleep up to CT and get that poor kid somewhere safe. Ideally MT’s baby daddy will cooperate/consult with child therapists and LE to allow for MT’s daughter to be interviewed at length but with full supportive services and counseling. That kid is a victim too and not only bc of her mom’s dysfunctional quite possibly homocidal/sociopathic relationships.

Those that were around last night for the Wednesday evening visit by FD - look what I found buried in an article bbm and snipped
After the court granted FD supervised visitation this February, he and JD could not reach an agreement on a schedule. In March, Judge Donna Heller granted FD supervised visitation every other weekend, starting March 30. He was allotted seven hours on Saturdays in Fairfield County and six hours on Sundays in Hartford County, which could take place at the Farmington house. FD was also granted three hours of visitation on Wednesdays in Fairfield County.
Warrant: Jennifer Dulos’ blood-stained items tossed by estranged husband, his girlfriend
-----so the 5/22 visit was regular according to this - not to say he didn't use it to scope things out at her home. but he was authorized to be there and I so hope the person who overheard the DNA remark was the court ordered supervisor of the visits. IMO
Prosecutors also allege Fotis Dulos showed up at Jennifer Dulos' New Canaan home on Wednesday, May 22, two days before she vanished. He did not go inside, they said, and allegedly told people he didn't want to go inside because he was worried his DNA would be found inside the residence. That's an interesting question. I believe the original video wasn't meant to hit MSM. I believe it was for reporting purposes as the link now directs to a reporter reviewing parts of the original video.
In the original video at the very beginning a reporter was asking Pattis a question about how he could claim that there was no way FD was involved. Pattis begins to answer and then says can we do that again? So he starts his answer over. I thought that was weird. Then at the end of the video the reporter says can you think of anything else and someone in the room asks another question. Again, weird. I transcribed most of the video but since I can't find it now and the link links to something else I'm not sure about TOS.

1. Did MT work at the Folly Farm where all of the horses died?
2. Did the Dulos children have horses there/ride there?

The Petit murders were heartbreaking.

I worked in Woodbridge and lived in Orange when that happened (both close to Cheshire), and I avoided the details until recently. I remember thinking the old "the husband did it" idea. I finally dove into the case recently, and it's horrifying. I feel like such a jerk for thinking he had anything to do with it.

Usually, when LE conducts a search involving a lot of resources (cadaver dogs, sonar equipment, and divers in this case), they have information that strongly leads them to believe that they will find the body. Let's hope they do, and that they find her today, and get FD back behind bars. MOO

Interesting. But I don't think we can assume in this case that just because FD was allowed visitation in Fairfield County that this gave him access to JD house necessarily. He could perhaps pick them up and spend time in the area but not sure about him being inside the house with the children. Its an interesting question though so will have to see if any more detailed information is in the court record on this point.

The only thing stranger, would have been if he was wearing jeans.

Come to think of it, that orange jumpsuit could make for a decent jogging outfit. It would go well with his ankle monitor.

Its hard to answer this question.

LE looked like they were going to have a PC the other day and we saw the media getting set up and then nothing happened other than I believe a small press release posted by NCPD.

Information is being kept close by LE and IMO this is good for now as it keeps the defense on their back foot in all this while LE continue to search for evidence. This might be a case where slow and steady wins the case (or at least I hope so!).

They also scheduled one for a Thursday morning, then cancelled it when MT (presumably) started cooperating.

No assumptions - I was just surprised he had Wednesday supervised at all - I've never read that before now. I wonder if JD was home 5/22 during this "visit"?

The children rode horses there, but no, no one worked there. It was accidental. People keep throwing out theories FD was involved in the fire, which I personally (no offense intended to anyone) find ridiculous.
