I wonder who has Power of Attorney and can speak for FD while he is in limbo.

Without that the hospital is not going to be able to give updates and neither is Pattis who might miss his really big shining moment in the news.

Someone here suggested how amusing it would be if MT had PoA.

I would add to that, especially now it’s all over the news that he had a new girlfriend.

No point looking for her if she’s dead! And the prime suspect oops I am sorry the Killer who was declared guilty by public prior to the trial without seeing any evidence (during trial) is now Brain dead! Mystery solved. Please close this case! Kids will grow up and read our comments to see how their father was crucified and they never got to hear his side of the story and state doesn’t really know what happened to their mom! Alas for webslueth it was just a tea time discussion but for their kids it was their mom n dad and no one got justice. No one knows where the mother is. State has 0 evidence. Their only trick was to create so much publicity and hold him with gag order and hope there is impartial jury who can just presume him guilty until proven more guilty.

the dying person usually only write about their innocence if they are really innocent. Even killers tend to start next life with clean slate hoping Jesus would save them by admitting if they have killed. We do know you all especially media and public on social media crucified him without going to trial or Seeing any evidence during the trial as an unbiased jury. So I’m not surprised he gave up. He probably knew you couldn’t provide impartial jury and had made up your mind prior to seeing evidence. I mean not arrest warrants of what police says that fotis was presumably driving Tacoma but apologies we can’t seem to find his pic driving a car. Also we couldn’t find Tacoma plate number. Lol

Here's a news flash. The state has ample evidence to convict the father. I hope he survives. He knows where the children's mother is located and yet he is evil enough to refuse to share the information because he is a coward and is rotten to his core.

Mmmm.
1. Websleuths is not a court of law and we are allowed to think whatever we want. We are not bound by any rules.
2. This was not a "tea time discussion". ALMOST all people commenting on this case have great compassion and empathy for not only JD but for victims of crime everywhere.
3. LE, those charged with crimes in this case, and attorneys monitor this board. Again, this has been more than tea time discussion.
4. You are right. FD is not a suspect. He IS a KILLER. State has shown plenty of evidence. Some people just need crucifyin' and FD is one of them.
5. Kids have not heard FD side of story because he has never cooperated with LE. We all understand that is his right. His worthless attorney keeps going on and on about the reasonable explanation for the Odyssey of Stupidity. I would love to hear it. Sure I would be ROTFL whatever it is.
6. Hehe. NP and FD are the ones creating the publicity.
7. I did not know "Even killers tend to start next life with clean slate hoping Jesus would save them by admitting if they have killed. " I don't think FD is a Jesus kind of guy. LOL.
8. I'm not surprised the Petite Prince Fotis gave up either. He has seen all the evidence we have seen and likely more.
9. What is NP explanation for the dumping of the garbage bags on Albany? Curious if you might know.
ALL IMO.

I had to read twice, at first I thought you were being sarcastic- it saddens me to figure out you are dead serious.
The “presumption of innocence” is for the courtroom. I am bound by no such presumption as I am not a juror. I am allowed to exercise common sense & outrage!

“No point in looking for her if she’s dead” ??????

BBM. As are we all.

For all of NP's rhetoric about FD being devastated at the revocation of his bond to the point it caused his suicide attempt, I think what FD really feared was NP's request for an evidentiary hearing to prove his previous bond was not defective.

For all the deceit and FD skeletons to come out in the public court with so many unresolved civil actions pending (i.e., divorce and $2.5M loan default ), this would be nothing short of a public assassination. It would be best to take one's life behind closed garage doors.

I think the best thing that can happen at Wednesday's bond hearing is for NP to not even think of challenging the bond defectiveness, and for the Judge to reset FD's bond at an unattainable sum, requiring FD to report straight to jail should he recover and be released from hospital. FD simply cannot remain a free man to enjoy the confines of his mansion.

MOO

We may be missing the obvious through the chaos. "Attempted suicide." What do we know about FD? He is a planner, just not a good one. The timing of it all. And the method.

Very short window, huge expectation of being found in time. I wonder if FD underestimated the PROCESS of CO poisoning. Thought he'd be pulled from the car, into fresh air, and go to the HOSPITAL. What if he picked 11 am and CO not because he wanted to die, but because he wanted to escape. What if his intent was to stage a suicide, just like all the blood in the Welles garage, hadn't counted on losing consciousness and certainly hadn't counted on serious poisoning to his entire body? And if not escape, sympathy. Hospital visitors....

We'll know more today. Whether there was a suicide note. Whether CPR kept enough blood circulating and with enough oxygen in it. Whether there's hope of recovery.

The one thing I think we can know for sure: narcissists do what they do to manipulate the narrative. Whether he meant to die or it was a poorly executed stunt to avoid jail, THIS couldn't possibly be the outcome he expected.

His actions and his attitude have been deplorable, but he is somebody's father, times five. My heart breaks for his children. Again.

Right here:

Instead, police found Dulos in the garage of his home. A car was running inside, the doors were closed and a hose was attached to the tailpipe, sources said. Dulos had apparently gone to the garage after his new girlfriend had left to go to the grocery store.

FD has a NEW GIRLFRIEND. Wow. Just wow. So many normal single dudes out there and somehow an accused wife murdered on house arrest manages to pull a new woman and start a new relationship !!!!! If this sick sick murderer ever recovers for a trial , MT will Krystal Kenney his *advertiser censored** so freaking fast. Just unreal. Speechless. I guess nothing should surprise me with FD by now but...WOW

Totally agree. He underestimated the time it would take to nod off to sleep before he had no control of the CO overcoming him. I’m shocked quite honestly. Cars are built differently these days and the amount of CO they release in closed quarters is not like years past. He wanted to be found and knew people would be looking for him or he might have done it sooner. Coward. MOO

There’s a police presence at Fotis Dolis’ Farmington house. A Farmington police car just pulled in to join at least one other police vehicle that’s been here for a while.
It’s not clear if this is new police activity or if police have been guarding the scene of Dulos’ suicide attempt yesterday. In the foreground is the memorial set up to honor Jennifer Farber Dulos.

I'm totally missing the purpose of a self-sabotaged suicide attempt??

I watched the drone coverage (before tarp/tent erected) and saw the vigorous CPR given FD when he was on the ground. I also believe FD was deceased when he was loaded in the UCONN Medical ambulance. I don't think it was a coincidence that his suicide attempt happened on the very date his multi-million dollar bond was revoked and he certainly would not be returning home on Tuesday afternoon.

What a socio/narc needs more than controlling the narrative is attention and constant entertainment. FD needs this like most need air to breathe. I don't think FD has ever had any intention of spending time in prison and his exit was just going to be sooner than he expected. I don't believe FD wanted to survive his suicide attempt -- that makes no sense to me. MOO

I was wondering that as well. I thought cars these days were built to be suicide proof? The exhaust no longer emits the same CO2 ( is that right? Never took chem) that was needed to commit suicide like before???

I'm with you on this one. I too was wondering whether this was a convoluted escape attempt.

Its interesting timing as that call was at 10:34 am and he was short of breath.

I've been too lazy to do the calculations to figure out the exact time he might have gotten into the car with gas but I wonder if he set up the gas ahead of time and had the car running in advance of getting into the car. Or, had he been sitting in the Suburban since managing to get his minder and sister out of 4Jx?

If the other woman and Fd sister were at 4Jx this am it might have been tricky for him to be sitting there in the Suburban as it was filling up with gas. How did he get both women out of 4Jx and did he turn down a ride from Atty Smith or a Pattisville intern?

I don't think you wake up in the am to bad news and simply decide to rejigger your tail pipe to send exhaust into your car? He had to have set this up in advance and being the planner he was he no doubt did the calculations I'm too lazy and tired to do to figure out how long he had to sit in that vehicle too!

Do you think it was a plan since pretty much the beginning? Ala plan the poop has hit the fan. Or just in the last week since Judge White got a hold of him and put poor little Fotie in the corner?

EBM to fix format

IMO if he was still among-the-living at noon, with a start time of 10:34am - I reckon he just turned the engine over, opened the car windows, and just elected not to run the roller door up. Maybe attempting to make his suicide look like an accident. Next thing we'll be hearing a rumor that maybe he just had a heart attack.

Am not that gullible, FD.

He had a hose hook up leading into the vehicle. The police would not have said suicide attempt unless it was very obvious.

Mark Motuzick of Capitol Bail Bonds in Hartford, said he called Dulos at about 10:34 a.m. to talk about possibly taking over the $6 million bond but Dulos told him it was “all set.”

Motuzick said Dulos seemed out of it and short of breath - like he was working out.

Medical personnel engaged in efforts to save his life after police went to the home at about noon for a well-being check after he failed to show up for the court hearing, Farmington police Lt. Timothy McKenzie said.

Sources said Dulos was unable to breath on his own and was on life support.

Police say Fotis Dulos in critical condition after attempted suicide

If he talked to him at 10:34, and that lady showed up at 11:18 according to wfsb, I don't think he was without oxygen very long. I imagine it takes time to die from carbon monoxide in this scenario. If he is running a hose into the car, there is going to be an air leak because no window or door is going to close fully on the hose. But if it does close all the way, it's going to kink the hose and no or very little carbon monoxide is going to pass thru the hose into the car. IMO he is going to make a full recovery and this is just going to be another stall tactic.

I agree that this suicide was real, he intended to die, the exit plan for a stone cold malignant narcissist who could not bear the notion of prison and all that it meant ..and also agree with others who have posted that this could have been a family annihilation if not for GF, LA intervening so swiftly.

What? How does it prevent him from explaining it? He has had six months to explain. The gag order does not prevent him from talking to LE.

And it was the judge who issued the gag order.

Imo
It was appplied in September on Attorney conangeos and Glorias request.See below link for a refresher.

Everyone in USA has a right to fair trial and presumption of innocence isn’t only in the court of law as many have said on this blog. Which shows their biased opinion, arrogance, lack of awareness and complete disregard of court of law. It is actually also outside of court so that the jury could be impartial.

Jennifer Dulos case: What you need to know about the gag order up for appeal

Good God, it would be just like him to come back as FrankenFotis after prolonged oxygen deprivation.
What a sad and sordid end. If he didn't have a pulse for 30 minutes, he's done, and will never have to answer for his brutality. Now they can just prosecute MT and KM and the children will bear the scars for life. A family that could have had everything, he did indeed have a beautiful life, and he destroyed it. Why?? It will never make sense. They could have had an amicable divorce but he was too malicious to be civilized, too greedy to give up all the money he felt he was entitled to spend on himself and his mistress. He created his own hell but worse, he created hell for os many innocent victims. NP also has shame and blood on his hands. He'll blather on with righteous indignation when he is part of the problem.

There are lots of variables on the time it would take

Size of garage

How or if the hose was connected, window cracked, did he seal up the gaps, etc

Amount of CO2 the car emits, don’t catalytic converters eliminate the majority of CO2? It may take a very long time

I think it’s reported the cops showed up at 12, so we have the timeframe of 10:30-12
