Dulos died with about $200,000 in a Fidelity 401K account and he had about $14,000 in a separate personal account, Hug told the court.

"Unfortunately, it doesn't appear there was a tremendous amount of liquid assets," Hug said.




If FD still had $200,000 in his 401k plan why did he need Anna Curry’s help , He could have withdrawn a portion (with a penalty) And paid part of his bond .

He ALSO could have liquidated his entire 401 K Back in 2018 to pay his mortgage instead of GF having to pay it .

My read of the AW is that FD went over to Grace Farms with the kids, and then “suddenly” realized that they don’t have dinner there and they close at 6, and at that point gained JDs permission to return to Welles.
I figured that FD wanted the chance to scope out Welles in person but couldn’t just ask outright to have dinner there, since JD forbade him from being in the house. That never would have been a legitimate original plan for the visitation, JD would not have allowed that. So he schemed up this excuse as a way to get back to the house. Note that he “gained JDs permission to return” which implied he asked her if he could come back, presumably after already heading to Grace Farms.
There is something odd, why didn’t they just go out to eat when he realized Grace Farms closed at 6? Why did JD lay out the dinner for them? It was a Wednesday night and you’d think he’d want to spend the visitation with the kids on his own, not at JDs house. Did he ask her, “hey do you have anything we can have for dinner?” If he was planning to go to Grace Farms for dinner why did JD step in to provide them dinner? Would be interesting to hear SS the supervisor’s observations on how this played out.

Thurton would definitely not be a normal place for FD to go park to wait if he was early for the visit. It is a cul de sac and he would have had to drive around to get to it. There is the winter club nearby or yes, Waveny, or any other places he could have gone to wait if he was 30 minutes early and up to something normal. It would be bizarre I would think for him to drive all the way around to park on a small residential cul de sac that coincidentally has a view through the woods to JDs house, unless he was scoping her out or had a reason for intentionally going there.

I'm with you on wondering about the whole 'why not go out' for dinner routine and why stay at Welles.

I do wonder though if the reason they stayed was because it was the Name Day celebration and they wanted to do a cake (I think this is the tradition that someone shared many threads ago?). It might have been harder to do this in a restaurant is my guess.

I don't know about anyone else but I am still periodically haunted by the LA testimony about how she put the food outside and then she and JFd stayed inside behind a locked door. Haunting image to be sure and I can't help but think that JFd didn't even want Fd on the patio but she no doubt did it because it was a celebration for the children to celebrate a Name Day. I do wonder if the older children will remember this last meeting/event with their father and mother hiding inside possibly for years to come?

Thought it was amazing that the court appointed administrator could come up with a figure for FD’s assets so quickly.

In the divorce case, the main problem was FD’s refusal to turn in any papers dealing with finances.

This leads me to strongly believe that FD has money stashed where it won’t be found. Is it Anna Curry who holds the secret? I don’t think it is sister Rena because she was too eager to lay claim to items in FD’s house. If she knew that FD had stockpiled money that was to be for her and the Greek family, I believe she would not have been so greedy.

Seems like FD was planning it very thoroughly for quite some time .

He refused to provide many requests for financial information to the Family Court for many months & the following week he had been ordered by the court to appear & provide said data that he likely did not have about his business, finances, assets, etc.

Discussed in earlier threads at length about this being the tipping point, possibly around June timeframe.

ETA: And he had set it up for that Friday before Memorial Day weekend, knowing where JFd & kids were going to be and when.

I understand being offended. But don’t allow yourself to be. People like this aren’t worth being offended by IMO. I’ve always subscribed to the theory that the best “place” to be in with people such as this is completely apathetic. No emotion = they aren’t worthy of you even acknowledging their existence.

MOO, the lawyers can squabble and fight all they want over a white sofa and a gray one, and an iron? I seriously doubt GF wants anything from the house that is not directly tied to the children or Jennifer. They are the epitome of a dysfunctional family after someone dies. The sooner the used mattress and sofas get dispersed, the sooner GF can move on. I am 71 and can't imagine trying to care for 5 young children. She is a saint, in MOO.

As Fotis Dulos cremated, lawyers vow to clear name

As the temporary administrator, Daly said Hug has about 30 days to inventory the assets and debts of Dulos so the court can give what's left to his five children.


The 45-minute proceeding offered details into the life Fotis Dulos was leading in the time leading up to his estranged wife’s disappearance on May 24.

His girlfriend Michelle Troconis, who was charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the case, wants her gray bath and hand towels back, as well as her juicer, bathroom soap tray, plant and a host of other ordinary items, including a lemon squeezer, a crepe maker and her daughter’s sporting equipment, according to a request filed in the probate case by her her attorney.

Attorney draws similarities between Joan of Arc and Fotis Dulos in court motion

Among the items requested are items of furniture, towels, sheets, kitchen items, decorations, skis belonging to Troconis and her daughter, a surf board, weights, water skis, and a motorcycle Honda 250.[BBM]

An attorney for the Dulos children also said there are items inside the house belonging to them.

Meanwhile, Kevin Smith, who is part of Dulos' defense team, was in court on Tuesday as well.

"We all want to make sure the that the estate protects potential suits he may have, potential claims, malicious prosecution, wrongful death, potentially malpractice, so those are things we want to make sure are not lost in the rush to divvy up all of his property," Smith said.[BBM]

There was also a cat in the house. Smith told the judge a friend of Fotis Dulos, who helped put up his bond, said she would be willing to take the cat on a permanent basis.

As for all of the items in the house, the temporary administrator told the judge he hopes to have an inventory done in the next 30 days.

So MT can enjoy a nice stretch on her stretching machine followed by some light weights and yoga on her reclaimed yoga mats while JFd was zip tied.

Then a lovely crepe lunch made with her JFd funded crepe maker.

A simple green salad, too! And a cheese board assembled with her OXO branded implements and board, capped off by a lazy recline in her reclaimed, unspattered white leather sofa.

All while toasting herself with one of several reclaimed champagne glasses reflecting back on the good times (hopefully not in the glint of her reclaimed knife collection - too unpleasant an association) while miraculously fitting said white leather sofa and yet another sofa into her unconstitutionally cramped 1,000+ sq ft flat.

Between her libations, reclamations and relaxations, Starbucks stops and relentlessly conditioner-free blowouts, perhaps MT might return JFd.
