Her sister was in the background. Appeared to be taking notes or could have been connected to the interpreter and just reading his words?
What do you guys think?
AND.........MOOOO

I'll need to rewatch the video....I kept watching Attorney Bowman in the rear of the courtroom.

And, MT was only wearing a headphone in one ear again...right?

I guess I'm not surprised that JS would stoop so low. What's important to know about this "custodial evaluation" alleging JF, not the proper custodial parent is that the court it was intended for did not use it and ruled to disregard it. It was sealed yet mishandled by NP. I believe it was prepared by the same person that was so charmed by FD that he embarrassed himself gushing over him. MOO

During the hearing Attorney S. said he would keep the custodial evaluation "secret." Then in the press conference all the T-women nodded their heads when AS said he wanted to know what it said about JFD and MT.

I guess AS's word about "secrets" means sharing only with friends, clients, and the media.

Edited to add MT to AS's curiosity.

One can never be disappointed when the criminal defendant you are working tirelessly to convict and make responsible for their offense stands before Judge Blawie.

He signed MT's arrest warrant and she was in jail the next day.

He's been on the bench for 16 years, and signed the last death warrant.

No substitution for Judge Blawie, IMO.

Fotis Dulos warrant: 5 things about Judge John Blawie

Thanks for the comments and article Seattle1! This is the first time I've seen this and agree with your trust in Judge Blawie.

I was especially impressed by his ruling to keep aspects of the Sandy Hook tragedy sealed as he ruled, "the State's interest in continuing nondisclosure substantially outweighs any right to public disclosure at this time." (2012) I hope he is considering the five children directly impacted by this case as he rules on the "custodial evaluation."

I think I figured out her sister's busy hands....Looks like she was wearing a "wrist rosary."

Her hands were very busy during the press conference, too.

Google search returned a very large selection of different types:
wrist rosary - بحث Google

IMO, she was not saying the rosary.
She was following closely watching JS.
Was she taking notes or tapped in to the interpreter and reading?
MOO
In the whole scheme of things it doesn't matter.:p
Idle chatter on my part.
MOO.

Based on her mother's reaction? They think JD wasn't fit to be a mother.
Imagine that.
Just take a few moments to let that sink in.
MOO.

Citygirl do you mean MT’s mother did not think JD was fit to be a mother? If so it sank in.

How did MT mother make her diagnosis from afar?

I have a feeling things will backfire on MT

I wonder what she thought of the latest charges? Any word?

I still don’t know what relevance the Dulos custody hearing has on MT’s case? And what business is it of hers or her attorney’s? Can somebody educate me?

@Jmoose -- It has absolutely no relevance except to a slimy lawyer and his client that really do not want for FD or MT to be seen as and believed the murderers of JD.

This defense wants to make JD out to be an unstable, hysterical, "gone-girl" mentality that most likely went off to secret location and killed herself.

Why? Well, because she did not care about her kids!
Why? Because FD was probably going to get full custody of the children after the court digested her negative her evaluation!

This is evaluation is the secret report that JS is referring to.

As I stated earlier, this evaluation of JD was in-fact disregarded by the court, and evidence of the report and testimony of its author was sealed.

JS is really reaching for the stars when he said that the evaluator interviewed MT and she should be able to view how her comments were used.

It's all bogus but ammo for reasonable doubt.

Bottom line: If the defense can sell there was no murder of JD by FD (or other because JD probably killed herself), how can MT be guilty of the charges leveled against her. No murder means no conspiracy to commit murder....

MOO

Only based it on the interview today with JS after the hearing. He was asked about why he had an interest in the testimony and replied because it questioned her ability to be a responsible parent. Paraphrasing here. MT's mother nodded when he said that.
I am speculating and reading between the lines.
I didn't like what I saw.
But this is JMO.

Anyone guess why Att'y S was wearing a plastic film glove on his right hand? Camera kept closing in on it.

Colangelo told judge they'd need a Franks hearing. I looked that up. Seems to be an evidentiary hearing on whether there were misrepresentations made in an arrest or search warrant? Any thoughts on that, anyone?

My thoughts?
JS is an annoying gnat of an attorney.
Judge Blawie was beyond kind, IMO.

I don't have any deep thoughts about whether there were deliberate misrepresentations in the arrest warrant. I do seem to recall that judicially arrest warrants have been known to contain investigative errors and are, in themselves, investigative. I think one would have to prove malicious intent in misrepresenting material in the arrest warrant.

The example Attorney S. cited was the paper towel with the coffee stain and whether or not MT smelled it. IMO, not legally trained or qualified, and after listening to the audio and watching the video, I can understand how the misconception happened. JMO...IMOO

lol....Forgot for a moment about Mama T's "career as a psychologist."

All of her information would have been third hand from MT who heard it from FD or second hand from FD. I'm sure that JFD did not sit for an evaluation with Mama T.

And, the sad, sad reality is not one of those women has an inkling about the life of JFD or the day-to-day life of those children....something that will never exist again. It's sinking in....:(

That was a chuckle moment. Attorney S couldn't find the words or didn't want to directly state what he was hinting at, so Judge Blawie said, You mean a Frank's hearing?"

I swear the pandemic has impeded my ability to verbally express myself, and I certainly have had stellar typing and editing errors, but IMO Attorney S. has big ideas about somethings, but doesn't know the legal terminology. Is that a bit odd?

When Judge Blawie asked him about a jurisdictional hearing or a change of venue, Schoenhorn's response went all over the place. Then he said something about needing to finish the memorandum about the nonfinancial bail requirements for this hearing and the judge's clerk gave him a deadline, so he couldn't finish the memorandum about the venue/jurisdictional problems. I don't think he ever stated clearly until Judge Blawie asked him if he wanted to cover that motion at the next hearing.

I was surprised that when Schoenhorn was complaining that MT couldn't meet in daughter in NY recently (?) and Attorney Colangelo asked the direct question "When was this?" Schoenhorn ignored and prattled on about probation, etc. Neither the judge or Attorney C. required him to answer that question. I really wanted to know what the answer was.

Considering the importance of this hearing, Schoenhorn's preparation and presentation did not seem very professional to me. JUST MOO...IMOO

I distinctly remember MT and Bowman asking for permission to pick up MT’s daughter at JFK around the holidays, and permission was granted for her to do so. JS is delusional; MT definitely got permission.
