She, like every person, abused or not, was a free person to make decisions.

The relationship was a couple of years old, only about 2 of them as an "official" -if adulterous on Fotis' part- couple. It takes many years to go from mostly love-bombing to mostly tbeing scary and scared.

I was going to compose another response, but I think that you and I will just have to leave this at “we don’t agree” about MT being afraid of Fotis. We each have our own reasons for why we think what we do.

Question for the defense: if PG murdered JFd, um, what was his motive? And why would FD be detailing PG's truck?

Senseless.

JS revealed their strategy today. The one element the State doesn't have to prove, he's going to tackle motive. FD was happy, happy, happy with his favorable report so had no motive to do away with JFd. And he needs the Herman report to do it. (Setting up for appeal?) Why is he not sanctioned every time he refers to an already settled issue?????

FD had motive.

The defendant had motive. Motive enough that she was willing to conspire.

FD had means. He had methods. He had vehicles. He had time.

Plus there's a lot of trial left!

I really loved seeing what to me was clearly a bicycle in the back of the truck that resembled a red Toyota Tacoma aka Pawels red pickup truck. I had not seen that picture before.

If it has not happened yet ( I had to step out for a bit today) It might make sense tomorrow to see the video, if there is one, of the hoody person on weed st on the bike in new canaan. I am not sure if it was just a still shot from ring or not.

Absolutely the finances were FD's biggest motive. But additionally there was this pesky scorned angry woman he was living with who ABSOLUTELY despised Jennifer. She, no doubt was instrumental in pushing him to the extreme. IMO

In FD AW KM gets a phone call from FD when he was on Albany ave disposing of evidence. The night before this KM falls down stairs, gets a concussion and needs a new phone. How convenient. Now he cant remember talking to FD at all on the 24th.
KM may sing like a bird and help the state out to save himself against MT, imo.
The videos of FD and MT in starbucks make both of them look guilty.MT is not getting any kind of plea deal since she is still sticking to the alabi scripts.

State recalls Sgt Vantreska

Witness says investigation moved to NC. Gave an assignment to Lebeau to look for the Suburban, Raptor, Cherokee and Tacoma.

Only the Tacoma was not seized at that point.

Had an approximate time for a vehicle consistent with a Tacoma.

Went to Valley Transit Station to look at cameras. Reviewed it for a specific time frame -- 15 to 20 minutes -- observed vehicle consistent with PG's red Tacoma.

Objection over witness' opinion of who owns it, Judge says there's already evidence about who owns the Tacoma, overruled

Voir dire, JS asks if he looked at any other red trucks during other times, no. He explains how they had the puzzle piece of a "red Tacoma consistent with" at 80 MS and again at the pull out near Waveny so they had a specific window for expecting the red truck.

Seeing a clip of a video from VTS. Red truck without the characteristics of the red Tacoma.

Another red truck. This one has a chrome bumper, chrome running board, extended cab.

State asks about a red truck in the VTS parking lot. Not a Tacoma. Ford based on the grill.

Vehicle consistent with a red Tacoma at 11:40.

State shows video from 77 MS, showing a red pick up at 5:35.

Used that video to establish a timeline, speed, time traveled.

Witness drove that route. 40 minutes.

Witness also sees a vehicle consistent with a red Tacoma at 12:22 at 80 MS.

Same vehicle seen pulling out from 80 MS at 5:27. Following a black Chevy Suburban with a Thule on top.

. JS actually asked the witness, " Was that the mother of Michelle Troconis? " Then, when responded to with a yes, JS actually wanted the witness to "Point out where she is in the gallery". This was immediately objected to by State, and the judge quickly responded with, " The mother is NOT on trial".

IMO, He wanted to illicit sympathy, and perhaps to attempt to alleviate any questions, regarding the possible/ probable cause of gallery disputes which were admonished loudly just prior.

This dude really has an uphill battle.....drone footage or not.

It may be that the woman is who paying his lawyer's fee is feeling left out and wanted credit for being in the gallery.

I don’t know! Personally I think he is going to sing like a bird and throw MT under the bus. Imo, of course.

He hasn't so far and he of all of the group of co conspirators has spent the most time in jail. He also has lost his law license and is by all accounts destitute. He also is in deep on the Dulos murder and so far as I know he hasn't had a trial date set. You would think that with all that has happened to him that he would have worked something out ages ago but he hasn't. He also would be a witness with alot of 'baggage' in terms of DV etc. with his ex-2nd wife. Perhaps the State sees him as a liability more than an asset? Hard to tell their current thinking. But my guess is that if they feel their case is strong enough without him then we won't see KM testify in this trial. MOO

Its called the "voir dire CROSS'....

Judge R wasn't having it and said his questioning was in line with Cross and effectively told TP to sit down.

He wants and needs to use the discredited Herman report in order to defend his client from the state’s claim that the trio killed Jennifer so they’d get custody of the 5 kids? And he says that they were actually winning that battle, and they need the Herman report to prove it. Supervised and restricted visits with the kids, and being banned from the property of New Canaan Country Day school doesn’t sound like winning to me. And anyway, there are plenty more motives-like money, like jealousy, like hatred, like fury at “not winning”.

Yeah. Fotis was not "winning" in family court. In CT, the odds were better than other states for him. But he was not "winning."
