Yeah, I’m not convinced she was not as culpable as him just given what we know of her moral fabric. So, not sure an offer would be appropriate. If they were both involved in whatever happened to Jennifer, I hope they have everything they need to not have to make a deal with the devil/s.

Unless prosecutors need to offer her immunity to testify against him, she will most likely get several years ion prison. I believe she is in it maybe even to the extent that FD is, and I think they were sloppy enough that prosecutors won't have to offer her a great deal in exchange for testimony. JMO

Watching the two being escorted into the courthouse, both FD and MT (who was hunched over as though she was going to throw up) is such a contrast to the arrogance displayed earlier Especially for FD who was described as hot headed, with a very short fuse, and screaming at anyone who got in his way. He's not the big bully running the show anymore, I'm sure it's taking a lot of self control to not burst with rage and start yelling at everyone.....probably the first time in his miserable life he's under the control of others.

But they may not have called right away. Her vehicle was gone and the housekeeper didn’t notice blood and I haven’t seen where she was concerned, she probably did her job and left. The friends called but from my understanding was a few hours later. The time frame for death, cleanup and moving could actually be larger. JMO

True enough - they could have kidnapped her and taken her to another location and held her. We only know she talked to someone around 9am (I posted the link up thread) and she missed her 11am appointment and her 1pm appointment. We have no idea when or if she was killed just that blood was found in her home. We don't know if it was her blood either. We do know her vehicle was found at the park that same evening IIRC.

I hope so, I really do because I fear she won't do time.

This is a wide open question in my mind right now.

I think it depends.

It depends on her own level of involvement in JD's murder, i.e., whether she had a direct hand in the murder itself or not.

It depends on whether LE can gather the evidence they need to nail FD without her testimony.

If LE needs what the side piece knows in order to locate JD's remains or to build/bolster their case against FD, the DA may very well make a sweet deal with her.

We've certainly seen this happen in other cases.
It wouldn't surprise me to see that happen in this one.
I think we all need to be prepared for that possibility.

NEW CANAAN — The estranged husband of Jennifer Dulos and his girlfriend were charged in connection with the New Canaan mother’s disappearance.

Officers arrested Fotis Dulos, the husband, 51, and his girlfriend, Michelle C. Troconis, 44 on warrants, New Canaan police announced Sunday. Additional criminal charges are expected as the investigation continues, police said.

The two were taken into custody around 11 p.m. Saturday in Avon and moved to New Canaan police headquarters, where they were charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and hindering prosecution in the first degree, according to police.

Jennifer Dulos, 50, a mother of five, was last seen dropping off her children at New Canaan Country School on May 24. Her black Chevy Suburban was found later that night on the side of Lapham Road near Waveny Park after she was reported missing.

Fotis Dulos is being held on a $500,000 bond at Bridgeport Correctional Center, while Troconis is being held on a $500,000 bond at New Canaan’s police station. Both are expected to appear in Norwalk Superior Court at 10 a.m. Monday. bbm

Its public but the documents aren't available electronically (I'm working off a copy from the file) so the circumstances are a bit different from normal I think. The press haven't put this particular document into the public domain yet. I'm uncomfortable putting the document up on WS/making it public in its entirety and would just prefer to delete the post and wait for MSM to catch up. Even with some of the documents sealed there is alot of personal information in unredacted form that I personally feel uncomfortable putting on the internet. If someone else at a later date wants to pull the document and bring it in then that is an option but I'm uncomfortable doing this as it relates to a case with children that will be reading about this years from now as they try to understand what happened to their mother. I shouldn't have made the OP if I didn't want to post the documents so my bad and I apologize.

It's doubtful that in the absolute sea of media articles about this case and discussion groups on the internet, 19 years from now her kids are going to be able to find your one post on Websleuths.

The issue he has right now is that he cleaned up blood. That's why they arrested him for tampering with evidence. Circumstantial, but pretty compelling that he killed her. I agree that LE wants hubby and they will put the pressure on the girlfriend, and she will spill it all. I think she's smart though and is negotiating a deal. I'm surprised the two of them didn't realize that blood leaves residue. Even if not visible and cleaned with bleach. That's a big mistake. So, clearly their plan wasn't perfect which should encourage the girlfriend to talk even more.

How do we know this? I'm trying to catch up.
