He is currently represented by the firm of Pattis and Smith. But Morales told Judge Peter Brown on Friday he has new representation.

Another child in NH also missing since Oct 2019 --but only recently reported missing to authorities on 12/31/21. Reminded me of Vanessa that vanished without a trace Nov 2019 and I wondered if dad had a new lawyer yet. Appears he's tabled that activity until Feb 2022. Alright.. he's not going away.

Where is your daughter?

Actually his next court hearing is on 1/28/22. ;)

Yes, I saw his next hearing is 1/28/22 but Morales's current lawyer will probably have to appear in court with him on that date since Morales told the judge he hopes to have a new lawyer by February. (He doesn't want a public defender). The judge hasn't approved the withdrawal yet!

“I’m not inclined to grant the motion to withdraw at this point until I know Mr. Morales has had yet another opportunity to secure private counsel,” the judge said before continuing the case to Jan. 28.

Ah - I take that back - you are correct (again!) :) I'll put a "maybe" in front of this hearing.
