just to fix some of the MSM info. According to the presser: She was last seen 11/29. Mother, daughter lived in a single family home 6/1/2 Myrtle . Police were called on 12/2 around 1 pm due to mother not showing up at work, LE was called back around 7 pm and made entry and found "unidentified woman"

I agree, family members are posting about Venessa missing, I think they may have been hushed about anything else. I'm sure they're listening to LE but I am not sure if being quiet is the way to handle this unless they know something else. IMO. For me, I would be shouting from the rooftop. My family member is dead and my niece/grandchild etc is missing. All IMO

What sicko kills a lady then does what with the child- kidnap? murder the child elsewhere? Sell her?

I would think there would be foot prints if the little darling walked out the door? Wasn't the door closed when LE did the welfare check?

Whoever you are- what did you do with this poor darling?!

I really hope LE have searched that house thoroughly. I mean under everything, every nook and cranny. In washwr, dryer anything she could crawl in or under. In lower cabinets, chest of drawers I don't know, I just don't want her to be missed.
That’s what I was thinking. Closet, crawl space, behind furniture, under furniture, cubby holes, boxes, drawers, cupboards. Anyplace a little tiny person can be in.

Venessa Morales, 1, was living inside a home where a relative of hers was found dead on Monday night, Ansonia Police Lt. Patrick Lynch told ABC News in a telephone interview on Tuesday.

Police said that while Venessa was not in the home, "we have not been able to locate her" since the body was discovered. The FBI is also assisting in the search for the girl.

Venessa has brown hair and brown eyes, police said.

Ansonia police give update on homicide, missing girl investigation

Police said the toddler, Venessa Morales, should have been in the home but was not found in the residence.

Police Chief Andrew Cota III said earlier Tuesday that the woman found dead was Venessa’s mother and that “she did not die of natural causes.”

“This is a two-part investigation — the first part is a homicide investigation, the second is a missing child investigation,” said Lt. Patrick Lynch. “Our main focus at the moment is finding Venessa Morales and making sure she’s safe.”

Detectives contacted family members on both sides of Venessa’s family, including her father.

Lynch said Venessa’s father has been cooperating with the investigation.

The father, Lynch said, occasionally stayed at the home but did not live there. He said Venessa and her mother lived at the home.

A Silver Alert was issued early Tuesday morning. Lynch said once police have exhausted all possible leads, they will consider issuing an Amber Alert.

The alert listed Venessa as an “endangered missing child.” She is described as a white girl with brown eyes and brown hair. She stands roughly 2 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 17 pounds.

Or they went there for the baby. There is so little background info on this, it's hard to pinpoint where to even start looking. As for footprints, she's so little, light weight, this whole thing scares me. IMO
