The latest DNA results are now back in--June 2015. There is nothing and I mean nothing that gives Darlie relief.
As we know, they were conducted Quantifilier Duo (Y-STR) tests on some of the evidence. This is isolating Male DNA by isolating the male chromozone Y.
As we also know, her supporters have been claiming the two blood stains on the shirt with a mixture is unknown third party DNA.
There are only 2 samples that include male DNA. One of them is 10-2589.5D3 (cutting of stain from lower back of shirt). It is a mixed profile. The major component is Darlie. The minor component is a partial profile and Darin is not excluded as a possible contributor.
The other sample with possible male DNA is 10-2589-5D5 (also cutting from back of shirt): Darlie is the major component. The minor component is male but is not suitable for testing. Too incomplete.
The rest of the DNA samples are female and almost definitely came from Darlie.
No male DNA found in the bloody sofa back table print.
The results are posted at
