Here is some info on the lawsuit (IMO, this is the one, not the BCH suit) that posters say Jesse Katz mentions. (I still cannot find any of his comments on any newspaper article thread or thru Google. It's driving me nuts.)
Anyway, according to a poster named Streydawg, who apparently REALLY has it in for the Pelletiers:
A couple of years ago they sued a Connecticut musician, Luke Bittner, who rear-ended their car on a highway off-ramp the year before Justina was taken to BCH. The suit claims Linda P. will suffer lifelong physical and emotional problems because of what seems to be mild whiplash and of course they are seeking big monetary damages.
He says look this up at
http://civilinquiry.jud.ct.gov
He goes on to list a bunch of unpaid taxes and bills that he claims they are avoiding by citing the presence of a sick minor child in the home, which according to state law, prevents utilities from cutting off service to the Pelletiers even though they stopped paying some of these bills as far back as 2004. Some banks and hospitals are seeking money from them as well, he says.
For all I know, Streydawg and Jesse Katz could be the same guy, but whatever. The info he (they?) provide is worth looking into to see if it can be
corroborated.
