Maybe this photo of red car in drive?
It doesn't look like the garage is open in that photo?

Perhaps, however, there are a couple of scenarios where all the martial arts training in the world wouldn't have helped him. First, there is the possibility the perp was already in the house and had restrained his wife, son and housekeeper when he got home. Secondly, if a perp has a knife to one's throat or just the mere threat of murdering your wife, son and housekeeper, chances are the man will comply instead. One perpetrator can hold an entire family hostage. Sadly, it has happened before.Knowing SS's martial arts background (a long one), if there was only one perpetrator present he would have most likely been able to kill him. There had to be other perps present.

At the time they interviewed W1 and W2, they didn't know who committed the crimes and were worried the perpetrator(s) could try to take out any known witnesses. Even after they named Wint as a suspect, they didn't know where he was. LE is still seeking unknown (as far as we know) accomplices who could ostensibly kill off anyone who could testify in court. The fact that they believe W1 and W2 are/were in danger makes them less likely as suspects to me - if IT was the only other co-conspirator, IT and W2 wouldn't be in danger from IT! But, unless they know the perpetrator(s), what information do they really have that makes them a threat to the perp(s)? Maybe this makes them more suspicious! Oh my head!
So far we know about:
A blue Porsche
A Bentley
A Mosler
A Range Rover

Would each bank branch have $40K cash on hand to dispense to an individual wishing to make an immediate withdrawl? Or would it likely have been requested the previous business day in order for the transfer to be made? Curious.
MOO

I'm wondering about the Bentley. Was that the car that the assistant regularly drove Mr. S in? If the Mosler (rarely driven) is on the left side of the garage, perhaps the Bentley is on the right side?
Thank you....just as I had thought. Large amounts can be withdrawn in the form of a cashier's check or transfer to another account but usually never in cash without advance notice. At Bank of America a large withdrawal (over $10,000) must be ordered 3 days in advance.

If I'm going to launder money, I'm not going to get my accountant, company brass and my new assistant/driver involved.

Isn't it possible he had cash in his safety deposit box? It wouldn't require a bank employee to be involved at all to get that.
I have a card on file with my sdb....listing the people allowed to access it. You must show id and at that time... be escorted to the sdb room.If money were in a deposit box, then all one would have to do is go get it. No notice necessary.
Do you know whether a person who has four separate accounts at BofA could get immediate access to $40,000 -- or is the $10,000 a total limit for all accounts held by a person? TIA.
