Local news is reporting that it IS booby trapped, they are trying to figure out how to get in. "Could be days before apartment is deemed safe"

I've read the shooter entered the theater through an Exit door. It hasn't been said if it was one that led to an area outside the theater. Certainly he didn't purchase a ticket and walk through the lobby with his gun and gas mask on, as I'd think someone would notice. If he did enter via an Exit door from outside the theater, why wouldn't his door be locked barring entry from outside the theater? Most emergency exit doors are locked from the outside and can be opened from the inside. Someone has to answer to this?

All witness accounts that I have heard are that he entered through an exit door. IME, the exit doors do not necessarily lead directly outside, but sometimes to a corridor that leads to an exterior exit door.

One witness account has said that someone got up to take a phone call not long before the gunman entered and walked to the exit door, opened the door, looked around, stayed there for a few minutes, then came and sat back down. Maybe he propped the door for the gunman, maybe he was able to get it to stay open without closing completely.

I sure hope that LE is aware of this and is looking for this individual!

On CNN they said the 3 month old baby who was shot is believed to be in stable condition right now. I can't even comprehend someone shooting an infant at point blank range.

I think it is, I read a Toronto publication that stated that a survivor of the Eaton Center shooting in Toronto was killed in the movie theater in Aurora.

17th and Peoria is all I have seen, I hope I can post that, if not so sorry mods.

It is an apartment building, they have evacuated that building and 5 other buildings by that building.
