Ohhh NOOOO! I just realized the girl we discussed on pg 5, who was tweeting from the movie and had survived the Toronto mall shooting was killed. Her photo is in the DM.

It's the fourth pic down on DM. DM shows a different last name but it sure as heck looks like her. I am in tears over this.

I just heard that she worked for a FOX Sports affiliate and thats why she may have been in both places, she may have been covering a sports event in Toronto?

She wanted to go to the Movie but her bpyfriend didn't want to go. Not sure if he went.

I wonder if Dark Knight was symbolic to him in some way. I looked around (since I don't watch these movies), and found that Bane is Batman's nemesis in this movie.

On CNN they said the 3 month old baby who was shot is believed to be in stable condition right now. I can't even comprehend someone shooting an infant at point blank range.

Those poor residents had no idea a monster lived among them. Hopefully they won't be displaced from their homes for tooo long.

I don't think Batman had any influence, it was just a popular event going on, a "good target". He shot off tear gas reportedly, explains the gas mask.

KUSA said that the baby was released a while ago and was fine. They only took the baby in because they were concerned that the tear gas might have effected it.

I've read the shooter entered the theater through an Exit door. It hasn't been said if it was one that led to an area outside the theater. Certainly he didn't purchase a ticket and walk through the lobby with his gun and gas mask on, as I'd think someone would notice. If he did enter via an Exit door from outside the theater, why wouldn't his door be locked barring entry from outside the theater? Most emergency exit doors are locked from the outside and can be opened from the inside. Someone has to answer to this?
