Did Morphey know what he was involved in?

I noted the "blog war" last night. It was between Gretawire posters and the people at findstacypeterson.com. over an unfortunate comment.

I just went to findstacypeterson website and it's gone. I wonder what happened?

i think the site is just busy, maybe???....there's nothing new over there anyway...not a peep about the Newsweek article, although several have asked about it....

Yeah, could be busy c_e and you're right, nothing about Newsweek Article. I have to run to the grocery store later and will peek and see if anything is in there.

It must have been just an overload of people trying to view the site because I was just able to get in. There's nothing new and no mention of the Newsweek article. I'm wondering if Cassandra was wrong about the date of it's release? If the information in the article is major, I wonder why other media sources haven't released the information.

Thanks, it worked for me.

Just read that link! Oh say it isn't so!!! MF is writing a book about Stacy?? Not when there is such overwhelming concern & pain for a missing Mom:slap: :slap:

Greta posted earlier today that he's NOT going to write a book on this case. I was wondering about that myself.

To all of you have have asked…no, Mark Fuhrman is NOT going to write a book about the Stacy Peterson/Kathleen Savio investigation.

Even tho, Greta did state he isn't going to write a book, I take it to mean...right now. MF has every right to write on this case from his viewpoint and I think the book would be one of the most fair to Stacy and her family, imo.

I have the Newsweek, and there is nothing in there about DP or this case. I think it's January Edition that it might be in and not the 12/3 one.

Mine is dated 12/3/07 and I got it through the mail. The big case in this edition was about the murder in Italy.

I thought it was Ric Mims that said he was going to write a book and not MF?? Did I read wrong??

I read that Ric Mims had been offered to write a book, don't know if he accepted that offer.

As for Mark Furhman, think that was a rumor that got way out of hand.

Back to Tom..

I don't think that Tom knew what he was being asked to do at the coffee shop. I think he thought he was just there to talk with Drew and help his brother.

But I do think 2 things:
1. Tom knew about certain unsavory things Drew had done in the past.

2. He knew that what he was doing was carrying Stacy out..because this was before the she was even reported missing that Tom went to his good friend and said he may have helped Drew move Stacy's body. This is before Cassandra has gone to the police.

Forget that the box is warm..something Drew said or did, or his children said or did, lead Tom to believe he had just moved Stacy's body. Remember she isn't reported missing yet, there are no news telecast. So why would you assume a body was in a box you are moving?

Tom is at his friends within minutes after returning home.

Something was said or happened at Drew's to make him Tom think that he had helped move Stacy's body..not just a box being warm. I've helped lots of friends and relatives move and never thought about what was in the boxes..I'm sure each of you have too. So wouldn't something other then just the box being warm to your touch make you think a body was in there? I've never had that thought ..something else made Tom think he had participated in removing her from the house.

I believe that Drew told Tom the whole "left me for another man" story...so Tom knew Stacy was missing when he moved the container. I think he maybe put 2 + 2 together after he had time to think about it after he was dropped off at his home.

Wouldn't it make sense that while Tom was at the house, that he would notice that Stacy's vehicle is not there?? After listening to DP talk about "his problem" and needing to get rid of it", I wouldn't think that 2 + 2 always equals five, would you????

We don't even know if any of the kids were up when this "Uncle Tom" showed up at that time. Maybe he had a chance for a quick question to the older son while DP was out of the room for a sec?? Too much we don't know!!

So possibly, with a "warm" container and what DP had said throughout the evening, Tom was able to add 2 + 2, and came up with five and thought, something is NOT RIGHT HERE.

If Drew told him the story of Stacy leaving for another man that would fit perfectly into her car not being there and Drew wanted to move either her things or his out of the bedroom. That would not lead Tom beleive that Stacy was in the box.

The time frame was approxiately 9:30 until 10: PM..the older two boys (13 and 14) would have still been up..not in bed.

I disagree, something other then the box, it's warmth and moving it tipped Tom off to the fact that Stacy was in there.

Either Drew inadvertently made a comment or the boys did..that once he left Tom knew what had taken place.

DD:

How about her bikini on the bed??

Okay, got that laugh out of me. If the container was moved to the back of DP'S vehicle, and that was the same vehicle that DP and an unknown person moved the barrel into, maybe Tom saw something that was left from the barrel??? Or heck, possibly even the nightstand was in the vehicle intact, and DP was saying that he was getting rid of everything but in his haste the nightstand didn't get taken out??

But it could be as simple as Tom being with DP, hearing his story about Stacy and another man (knowing DP's background) and seeing two young boys at home and knowing there were even 2 YOUNGER CHILDREN in the house and Stacy left. That alone, would make me SUSPICIOUS!!!

It appears that he was trying to turn his life around for the better.

Hopefully DrewP will leave him alone. It sounds like DrewP tried to get intimidating when they met up in a store. Now I have to ask, does this sound like the actions of an innocent man? To me it sounds like a man who fears what TM might have to say. DrewP thought he was weak and could be intimidated. Thought that he could be discredited, by bad mouthing him. Thought he wouldn't talk to the cops. LOL, guess he was wrong.

And what was up with DrewP saying he was handing out Halloween candy, but when trick or treaters showed up police got involved??? Not very 'neighborly'!
