There was some rumor I think from the JAII site that she had a miscarriage, and Travis was insensitive about it. I think any child she had (with anyone) that poor baby would be at the hands of a mentally unstable woman that kicked Doggyboy, the family dog, when she is fourteen. She said that she had to picking up Joey and Angela's dirty diapers out of the yard because he'd torn open the trash. She said she kicked him and he moved a few feet, and she never saw him again. She said he was chained out in the yard because her family didn't know how to properly care for dogs. I wonder how Doggyboy got off the chain to disapper?

Yep I agree. The Doggyboy story doesn't pass the smell test and it directly relates to this murder. TA had contusions and scrapes on his legs that occurred prior to his death and so it is easy to imagine CMJA stomping his legs and ankles as he tried to crawl his way up the hallway. That could account for her foot and ankle injuries as well. The injuries she never showed anyone. Poor Doggyboy and poor Travis.

I was just debasing myself by reading the JAII site and someone asked the question I've been hanging to ask them but don't want to get banned. The question was what is the opinion of the people there on why Arias didn't warn the Hughes's about TA's supposed interest in children and their child in particular. The response: 'Are you a hater?'. I have never seen people able to deflect and/or ignore anything that doesn't fit their view as much as those people do when it comes to Arias. The responder then went on to say they could answer that question but wanted to know the questioner's view first. Well if you can answer that question with anything approaching a valid viewpoint then why not just do it? The other answer just deflected onto why didn't the Bishop report TA. IMO it's a telling reflection on JA that they are the best quality supporters she can get. The other classic today was about Sky Hughes smiling inappropriately while on TV. Seems they've forgotten a certain infamous mug shot.

She added something about the delicate balance of mystery and desire being key to a lively love life. I quickly moved on to the next patient before she went into details but I always remembered it.

I see. In my day, girls were told to never let their man see them on the toilet. OT: When I was really young I worked at a crap nursing home. It was really strange to me, at the time, that these old folks would tell me stories, relive their younger days. The ladies would tell me about their "beaus" that would take them on picnics. Oh, the stories that they would tell. Sad, wearhouse for old people.

Briefly: There is NO confirmation Arias will go to Perryville the same day she is sentenced [April 13].
Media is still waiting for confirmation from DOC director Charles Ryan.

Hayden will not be in town but a news crew and helicopter will be following Arias as long as enough notice is given.
Perryville is setting up an area for media to cover her arrival.
Fox 10 News Now will be covering the sentencing live.

BK spoke with Brandon Jones, a spokesman for Sheriff Arpaio. He says Arias will be immediately transported to Perryville after court on the 13th. She'll have to pack her belongings and say her goodbyes between now and Apr. 13

The issue of birth control is interesting and raises a lot of questions. Odd as it may sound, I'm grateful that it was (mostly) anal sex; otherwise, I can only imagine what havoc would have ensued had she gotten pregnant. Then again, she might not have killed the father of her child. Not out of love or respect or anything like that, just to ensure she'd get money for child support (and ruin him).

Didn't they find condoms packed with her stuff when they arrested her ? I thought so, Or am I wrong? :thinking: if so, likely not an uncommon practice... I guess even a sad sack, evil, conniving witch like her tried to avoid STD's.

Yep sexual attraction is all about mystery/ illusion and anticipation. long term sexual attraction is all about extending those illusions and mysteries. It is human nature. If CMJA were capable of cultivating a true interactive relationship and put sex on the back burner she probably would have succeeded with DB or MM or even TA if she had been a more sincere Mormon but she played her sex trump card and then had nothing to back it up because she was an empty shell of a human. Nursing homes may seem cruel but at least the elders get to pass on their experiences to someone. I certainly appreciated her story.

I really know very little about prison procedures, since I don't do criminal trials. But I believe anyone can get onto the "no communication" list if they are concerned. I don't see how JA would be sending emails at all.

As well, I believe that JM was preparing another trial which was scheduled to run following the Arias fiasco, and may have ended up being concurrent for a while. I've wondered why his boss was there. Possibly because he might have had to take over the case since JM was being accused of prosecutorial conduct.

However, could it be that the behaviour of JSS and her assistant had drawn his attention and he wanted to either have first hand knowledge of what was going on in order to take action on his own, or because his presence might mute those behaviours.

I also had another thought while listening to JM's voice that sounded like he may have had some health issue (cold, sore throat, laryngitis) and thought what on earth would happen if JM got sick since he worked the prosecution alone (wonderful Det. Flores not being a lawyer) but there are five working the defense. Grrrr.

I think it's a good thing JM boss there to observe everything.

I think there also might be some sort of discussion when this is all over regarding the running of the courtroom in both cases. We may never know, but I'll bet there will be at least one meeting about it.

JM got disrespect from all quarters and it should never have been allowed. I think the behavior of some of the defense witnesses and the defense lawyers was out of line. JSS may well get slammed the way judge Ito did.

That mitigation specialist is another thing entirely and it's not good, sheesh.

Long time lurker and avid trial watcher taking this opportunity to thank all the forum members for some of the best reading or viewing I have had for the last few years . I just finished binge watching the guilt phase followed by the retrial, followed by the legal threads and again I thank you all.

I have a few questions lol who wouldn't? Help me out here pleeeeze.

1. the check to Travis found in the desk. I have always thought it was bogus and planted by CMJA the day of the murder. I remember JM entering her bank statement into evidence but i didn't get a good view of it. Did she even have enough money in her account to cover that 200 $ check if it was sent when she said it was?
2. I highly doubt they ever had vaginal sex, every other kind to be sure, but there has been nary a mention of any condom or contraceptive used during their "activities".
3. CMJA claim TA had sex with her while she was sleeping, WTH? Maybe she pretended to be asleep but no way IMHO can a woman sleep soundly during intercourse. ( Sometimes I wish i could but Nahhhhhh)

In one of her TV interviews while describing the ninja attack I swear i thought I heard her say "he just wouldn't die" .
I can't find the link, i remember googling it a long while back. If someone has it I would love to review it again. I do think that was a truthful thought that went through her head on June 4.

I worried about that too. His voice sounds very strained, not the robust voice from the first trial. I also recall that he had to take a medical leave of absence (between the two JA trials, but after the Hulsey trial), which was one of the reason the date for the retrial got pushed back.

The 200.00 check is dated 5-25-08, on 6-03-08, the balance showing in that account is 148.65, she makes a deposit of 400.00, bringing balance to 548.65 - if Travis had received that check before 6-03-08 it appears the account would not have had the funds in it to clear the check. The other account that she deposited money into that morning was already overdrawn (deposit of 300.00 brought balance to 240.43, so 59.57 overdrawn before deposit).

I still don't get the PSD results. Did he note "Domestic abuse" on one "sheet" and then another "sheet" noted TA choked her?
