NO, please don't make her stop!! More. More.....

She didn't put CH in a bad light, though I'm sure that was her intention. With every tweet she communicates how pizzed off and vengeful she is that nobody believes she is a victim, and that 13 of 14 jurors believe she doesn't deserve to live.

Believe that Sheriff Joe IS watching and listening to everything she says and does. He doesn't like her. He clearly wants to knock her down a peg or two or a hundred. What she doesn't get (thankfully) is that he IS in a position to mess with her AFTER she leaves Estrella. His report about her doesn't just go to JSS. It'll go to Intake at Perryville.

It's only been a few days since #17 tainted the verdict, and she's already:

1. (Likely) been responsible for breaking the law (s) by giving jurors' names to a public web-hole.

2. Lost her temper between the courtroom and her holding cell on Taint-Day.

3. Insulted and mocked her victim's family before she reached her holding cell.

4. Mocked her victim's family and the public by posting self-congratulatory photos of herself soon after the Death Verdict If It Weren't for the Taint.

5. Has relentlessly sought media attention to try to undermine the jury's findings

6. Insulted Sheriff Joe on Twitter (read: was "disrespectful to Law Enforcement")

7. Either quoted JW accurately or slandered JW by saying JW called JM a liar.

8. Is posting out-of-context from LE interviews. Hopefully she'll soon be posting info that is under seal.

Sheriff Joe will know how to turn all that into a good story about a killer who is positive the rules don't apply to her. :)

Yes Jodi please keep digging yourself into LWOP

IMO, the jurors who spoke after the verdict had every right to voice their own opinions on the case, but not voice an opinion about the other jurors like they did. I didn't like that. Had they said it was 11-1 and left it at that, speaking only of their own vote, it would have been okay. However, the presser was a condemnation of the dissenting jurors vote and even going into detail of her conversations in deliberation.

Like I said, I did not like that. Deliberations are done in secret on purpose.

Deliberations are done in secret as to Not persuade a juror from outside influence. Once Deliberations have concluded their speech in not entitled to secrecy unless and Until there's a gag order In place. With this trial being as secret as it was( and continues to be) frankly I'm glad to see something out In the open. People do have the right under our constitution to verbalize opinions frustrations ect.

Do you believe she'll be released from prison?

No. I think JSS will give her a natural life sentence. This has been a learning curve for her and prison is CRIME UNIVERSITY. I also believe with all of my being Jodi will kill again if released. It won't be someone obvious; probably a string of strangers, using all the tricks of the crime trade she has just begun to study. Jodi will do this because she can for the thrill of the cat and mouse game. Reading/watching all about herself on the news. DO NOT RELEASE HER.

The Alexanders need to let it (the case against Jodi) go. They've done all they can for Travis. There will always be an empty space where he should be. There is no 'closure'.

I am not a psych/legal professional. This is only my opinion. Certified NUT though.

Jurors speaking for themselves is one thing. Even speaking for other jurors is okay with the others permission.

Speaking for a juror who chose not to speak publicly and did not consent is WRONG, IMO.

JSS will give her LWOP. The hole she's digging is what the first years of that LWOP will be like. Prison rules exist on paper. In reality, her keepers have 100% discretion about how she's treated and what happens to her.

If she keeps opening up her mouth (nothing yet has made her shut it) and believing she's above the rules, she's gonna spend a long long time in Phase I, if she's lucky. Or they'll play with her and let her go to Phase II then bust her right back to Phase I for another month, again and again and again.

Or, her keepers could just as easily declare her mental and lock her up in the crazed unit, or declare her unmanageable and lock her up in the discipline unit. So many options. NONE of them to her liking, NONE of them in her control.

I'm really very sure she will not find prison to her liking. Meanwhile I'm watching with pleasure as interest in everything JA is already quickly evaporating, everywhere. I expect her tweets will get more and more shrill and shrieky in the few weeks she has left.

Respectfully, how the Alexander family chooses to handle things now and in the future is entirely their call. There is no right or wrong. I hope they know that as they walk the difficult paths in the future, prayers continue to be with them.

It is true there is no such thing as closure. I think whoever manufactured the idea of "closure" has probably caused unintentional extra pain for the grieving. It's a false concept. The grieving need to know we are with them, and we remember their loved one. And there is no time clock on that.

I agree. I think they have done all they can for Travis, Suing her in civil court will make it all about JA not Travis. IMO

Praying JSS gives her LWOP. I know there are several phases in Perryville. Is there ever a time where there's a chance where she'll share a cell with another prisoner?

If the killer keeps it up the only person who will be allowed to visit her in prison will be her mother. :jail:

The Alexander Family should do whatever they darned well please. If they want a civil suit so JA can't profit off of their brother's death then kudos to them. I wish them the best of luck. If they don't want to pursue a civil suit, then so be it. As far as I'm concerned, they have the right to do whatever they want. They have been through hell and how they want to handle the rest is up to them.

ETA: And IMO, a civil suit wouldn't make it "all about JA". It is about Travis.

Yes! Ain't it grand? Sooner rather than later. Reality is, she's been in solitary for the past 2 years (23/24) and has managed quite nicely with that, although she has had MDLR and her revenge plans to keep her warm.

Solitary protects her from herself. Sharing a teeny tiny concrete and steel cell with someone else is what she is going to have a difficult time with. No privacy, no goddess status, just 2 violent mean nasty women in one tiny locked cell. If she complains, she'll be labeled as a snitch. And if her keepers are messing with her, they'll make sure to match her up with someone she can't tolerate, so she'll have endless "kites" on her record.

Given that most of her loose handful of sicko supporters have records, I think that's a safe bet no matter what she does. Maybe not her mother either. Do you see her making sacrifices to go visit that bad seed? I don't.

according to Beth all information from her years behind bars will be released by Sheriff Joe. It was described as two 3-ring binders full. Included will be transcripts of every phone conversation she has had, every visitor, every purchase, etc

Sheriff Arpaio denies a media request...

http://media2.abc15.com/html/pdf/AriasDocumentaryRequest.pdf

Don't you just love some of the media people? This one wants to give JA "a voice" - they must not have watched those 18 DAYS she was on the stand!

That happened in 2014... just sayin'. But, reminders such as this are good to keep us all remembering "the spotlight is not on a convicted, non sentenced murderess "GUILTY OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER"

Respectfully, how dare any of us who are not family of homicide victims ever presume to suggest what is best to and for those whom are?

I lost a friend at 16 years old to murder - not a family member - and it still affects my life in certain ways over 20 years later. Murder changes who you are and how you view the world. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and trauma of losing a family member to violence. I say whatever they feel is right, is right for them, right now. Never having been in their position, I couldn't possibly suggest to know what 'best' for them would be.

JMO and FWIW

It says FINAL opinions. That doesn't mean that the jurors can't go back and forth during the trial about what their opinion is in regards to whether JA received life or death. I'm sure many jurors go back and forth throughout trials on their opinions but don't actually make a final decision until deliberations.

Jurors are not permitted to discuss the trial at any time before deliberations.

LOL, I wonder if Jodi will try to correct her new roommate's grammar? :happydance:
