So if it can be proven she lied during voir dire can she be legally prosecuted without putting the re-trial also in legal jeopardy? If prosecuting her puts the re-trial in jeopardy what are the legal remedies as far as the re-trial? Do over, or just default to mistrial which means no change? I'm sure if the verdict had been the DP, there would have to be another trial, but now, since Arias got the 'best outcome' there's no inherent benefit to her, and the state may be unwilling to foot the bill for a new trial as the choice would fall on them.

WTF, you are right!!!! She has got to be a replacement or something, that is just too crazy to be true, even with this trial.
ETA: She was asked to stay for additional questioning after the other jurors were dismissed.

Are we sure she isn't required to use that money for "rent" and restitution? The fellow with the difficult name who used to be in Arizona Corrections says inmate money gets diverted for "rent". I'm guessing Jodi will have to rely on Securepak's for goodies, but she'll have to earn that privilege.

JSS says no basis for excusing her, she seems like a 'strong person' .. returning Oct 16th .. interesting. I'm annoyed that nobody looked into the DV more, because it could have led to all the other information and she would have been dismissed at that stage, no two ways about it.

OMG JSS asked her specifically if she could separate her personal experiences, i.e., DV history, from the evidence of the case to which she said YES.
JSS kinda advocated to keep this juror after further questioning...her use of words for why is very bothersome and quite alarming as it seemed rather opinion based IMO.
