CMJA does love to write. I wish I could read the Manifesto, even though I know it is filled with lies.

I just started to read the manifesto, and I hope you get a chance to read it as well, but I just wanted to pop back over here and alert everyone that their eyes could actually roll back into their heads if they do read it. The level of self importance and the attempt to use big words and show off her knowledge is so great that I felt it important to issue this possible health side effect

JMO--Well, it's true she's not going to spend one day in an Arizona prison. She's going to stay all the days of the rest of her life there.
And her Christmas wish? It's not happening. Maybe after about 45+ Christmases in Perryville she might pick up on that.

Also, it doesn't sound like a veiled suicide threat here. She really is a psychopath.

I should add that I didn't read the whole document, I should not have said it was just the 48 Hours thing. The parts I skimmed looked awfully familiar though.

Wanna bet that Juan tried to get the Manifesto admitted into trial, but was denied because it was too prejudicial to the defendant?

I'd still like to know what two of her biggest supporters were so happy about on Feb 23rd, which also happens to be the day two jurors were dismissed just before the lottery. My gut tells me that there is more to J17 and her connection to this case.

I think possibly the bailiff and the judicial assistant might be involved somehow... Like, maybe the bailiff shares info with the judicial assistant - who he doesn't realize can't be trusted...

I don't think that j17 "knows" them, I just think that maybe that's how info was leaked...

Two quick questions regarding the manifesto - 1) does anyone know if it was originally handwritten and then transcribed, or did JA have access to a typewriter or computer in jail? 2) does anyone else find it as fascinating as I do?? I know a few have commented that it is similar to the letter written to the Alexander family, and I haven't finished the manifesto yet, but I find it a whole new level of cray cray. I thought nothing could shock me anymore in this case, but I have to admit, I'm a little stunned reading it.

Haven't gone over to read it yet but I thought it was abundantly clear that Travis' murderer doctored her journals in the months leading up to the murder, and because she can't help but write so much there was bound to be writings that would outright impeach her journals, or at least convincingly show that her journals were, in fact, nothing more than another attempt on her part to manipulate/hide the truth about her state of mind and long term premeditation of Travis' murder IMO.

MissHaley, another central feature of psychopathy is that these individual's can be incredibly charming, charismatic, and articulate. But what matters even more is that these individuals are SUPERB at identifying their victims--they are con's and a con always knows his mark. They have an almost innate ability to pick out those who are susceptible to their machinations.

Lol!! Every time I hear Jodi say she's an "artist", I think ya right... A conArtist!!!

It is in the nature of communication to fill in gaps and resolve ambiguity by bringing our own past experience, critical or uncritical thinking skills and even 'intuition' to bear on any given message, in the attempt to derive the intended meaning or the covert or overt truth contained within it. There is a vast spectrum of human experience, preference, prejudice, motivation, bias, intention, and level of sincerity that can be used. Each person is entitled to their own interpretation of a given message, and each third party is entitled to their own evaluation of that interpretation when it is further communicated.

And for liars I depend more on my inner senses/instinct that their words!!
