Water seeks its own level, as the saying goes.

No one was made into a potential criminal by JA; they were already to go there and it's totally in their own control (except for the two 15 yr olds). MDLR and everyone else are doing what they do by their own free will.

And I don't understand why MDLR feels so bonded to JA, to the point where she herself is behind various money accounts and schemes. I get the fight against the DP; that's what a mitigation specialist is all about, but this shows a serious lack of both boundary management and clear morals.

The majority of us were disappointed that Jodi wasn't handed the death penalty.

However, seeing Maria DeLaRosa marched up the steps of the courthouse in handcuffs would be the next best thing.

Maybe we missed getting the big Kingpin, but bringing down all her enablers is a form of justice all it's own.

It's not quite as salacious as I thought. No surprise they are looking at the financial accounts and there's some kind of investigation into that. It's not a secret Jodi has minions and her minions were seeking donations and setting up funds of some kind. And of course high profile cases attract all kinds of cray-cray people trying to spread pro-killer messages, find ways to break the killer out of prison, and help fund a killer's defenses and other various activities. It's a cray-cray circle of slime. This has happened and is happening in other high profile cases, it just may be that the Arias team has been especially prolific with their slime.

been reading for about one hour now getting excited for some real action...ie regarding JSS or the defense or someone having charges filed etc. in this disaster of a trial this is not that exciting... i don't know...it is good and there is something very off with mdlr but she is probably getting more cases lined up...that assistant of JSS seems to still be on the payroll...!!!

You don't slip out of bankruptcy fraud. If her parents' names were on any of those accounts, that Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee will be all over it with the Feds.

Can't come soon enough then. How stupid! Not to mention GREEDY, of MDLR!!

Troy Hayden doesn't seem to have much on this financial stuff, but he did say he was interested and would be checking his sources to see what he could find out. Did say the investigation into the release of the juror names is a very big deal at the County Atty's office. He apparently came on to talk more about the Hawaii/kids story, when all of this broke.

Oh, I agree...and I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade.

But I am not getting too hopeful yet--it's reported it's being investigated but until I see some actual movement in that realm, I am concerned that this may be wishful thinking by those who really want to see some just deserts dished out.

The article is a little confusing. At one point it says the accounts are on 'hold' and at another point it says they were 'seized'. That sounds like two different things.

It will become exciting if it turns into criminal charges for one or more peeps. For all we know the investigation won't lead to the kind of hand-slapping or handcuff-slapping wanted. Then again, maybe it will!

A friend of mine is considering bankruptcy and she's been gathering a lot of info. During bankruptcy, for instance, she can't purchase a vehicle worth more than $3,500. Once bankruptcy has been filed & accepted by the court, then those constraints are no longer in play. Of course one's credit is ruined for quite awhile, so getting a loan with a decent rate won't happen for some time, but there's no legal rule that someone can't later purchase a nice car. The rules apply only to the period of time in which bankruptcy is occurring, being filed, etc. and not afterwards.

Yup...I am still skeptical on all of this. I have waited so long for MDLR to be taken down a notch but I want to make sure it is really happening before I celebrate. Too often in this case we've seen something strongly hinted only to watch it fizzle.

Seeing all the antics of MDLR to "hide" JA's monies--if I was an AZ taxpayer, I would want a complete independent audit of the DT's spending...Did all these experts overbill the state ??? Why in the hell did it take 3 million for the DT to represent this murderess ????? AUDIT !!!!!!!

This is one of the best ideas I have heard lately.

If ever a case needed to be audited .......its this case.

Please, why would MLDR, being a court officer, want to join the defendant's support site, join up with con-artists, get herself assigned as an admin for a financial acct., and hide money? What is the draw? Was MLDR aware they were scammers? Did she know them already to join them? Did the killer tell her to do that? I can't believe she would really think that was a 'duty' as a migration specialist? To tweet mean things, as well?

I was hoping it would turn out to be like the Charles Manson wedding and they were planning to sell her corpse as art on her murderbilia store only to be thwarted by the holdout juror upstaging Jodi.

I agree, and I added just a little more "salt" to my dinner. I read nothing that was a "TORPEDO". LOL. I guess I am one of those who wants "facts".... doesn't make me all bad. Show me the warrants and cuffs. :gaah:

People should know if they drop their guard with someone with Borderline PD this is what happens, they manipulate you into doing something for them that compromises you, then when they are done with you they pull the rug out and expose whatever you did .. it's all about using others, then bringing them down .. you'd think a mitigation expert would know that. Oh well, she knows now. I wouldn't put it past Jodi telling the authorities everything she knows about MDLR in return for comforts either. Time will tell right?

I claimed bankruptcy last year and after I filed I must have gotten at least 30 pieces of mail saying I could buy a new car even though I have an open bankruptcy. I even got them afterward. And you are correct about after the bankruptcy. Once it is settled you can do what you want. I can't say it has really hurt me. I only have my debit card now that can work as credit and I'm fine with that.

Good questions. Right up there with why did Maria do all the things she did during trial?? Think of it. The only person she got to testify on Jodi's behalf for mitigation was a liar out of the country who wanted his 15 minutes of fame. That's it. The others were paid liars. I wonder how she was able to get Juror 17 on the jury and what juror 17 was paid. Those two (MDLR and J17) couldn't be more stupid.
