I have seen no indication whatsoever that the blanket he picked up in that video belonged to Caylee or the Anthony's. I haven't even seen any documents that show the winnie the pooh blanket is theirs. Have you?

It really doesn't matter whether or not the blanket he picked up was related to the case. The telling information and evidence is the core fact that DC was in those specific woods, and was looking for specific items, a blanket clearly being among them.

Isn't it normal for the prosecutors to offer some form of immunity for anything learned from a witnesses sworn testimony, such as a deposition or on the stand? And doesn't that immunity then eliminate the ability for a witness, not already facing criminal charges, to "take the 5th" as it were, when testifying in regards to someone else. Am I misunderstanding how that works?

I would think so, Fae...what would be the sense of giving someone some form of immunity and than refuse to answer, or invoke his 5th ammendment right, it doesn't make sense. He'd have to let it all out without fear of being arrested, and that immunity ensures no arrest..JMHO

The Pooh blanket was found with Caylee's remains, which is strong circumstantial evidence that it is the same blanket that was admittedly (according to Cindy) missing from her Pooh-themed bedding set. This is especially true since there are multiple Pooh-themed prints available, but the one found with Caylee's remains happened to have exactly the same print as the one we saw in Caylee's baby pictures.

However, we don't have any real reason to believe (IMO) that the pink blanket that DC poked at and some of the TES searchers might have found is related to the case, do we?

What about this blanket? Wasn't it the
blanket that was described in the docs as pink with a dark pink & green floral motif - not exact words, but something like that?

Does anyone know the status of his PI license? I recall it was being looked into, that info is posted up thread. Before it is over he and Jose may be looking for new lines of work. Where does one go to look into a PI to see if they are in good standing? What did you make of him asking Lee to intern with him? Was it to extend the responsibility to others, rather like if I am going down...I wont be going alone? Did we ever get the fee arrangement missing page of his letter of engagement with mom and pop? If it literally says he will be paid if as and when the media deals go through, if it is that overt, is that within the rules in his profession?

It is prolly very difficult to take someones license away. He should start his book now. IMO

That is easy, the documents are at the same place they have been at for over eight months, where the judge ordered the defense to come to review and flag them, the same way Mrs. Drane Burdick and Brad were able to do with little effort. Despite the defense saying it is literally impossible, if the two I mentioned could do it, then the very experienced Cheney or Andrea could do it. The documents are and have been available to the defense to come review at Mark's office.
I rank this right up there with the defense releasing to the public, the unsworn, heavily edited videos of Roy's ex wives, even though they have no hope of them coming in to trial. In the words of Judge Strickland to Jose, "This is where posturing can get you into trouble!"

Didn't LDB say she had travelled to - wherever TES kept them in another state and it took her six hours to go through them all. And that the files were moved to MNJ's office to protect them and allow access to the Defense? At least eight months ago?

I don't think we do have any solid connection, the pink blanket has only been batted around in theory because of it being collected by LE and released to the defense in discovery.

In Florida, once subpoenaed by the State the witness has use immunity. That certainly is not to be confused with committing perjury being allowed, of course.

If you have nothing to hide, there is no need to hide. If JB has done nothing wrong he has nothing to worry about and no one can get him into trouble, he can only get himself into trouble. If I had KC for a client, I would be worried about getting thrown under the bus. Look at what she has done to her family. The only thing worse than a person who tells lies about someone would be finding a person who would believe them. Lying destroys peoples' lives. Let hope DC told the truth. jmo

But that's just it NTS. because of the use immunity when testifying, he can't take the 5th. Nothing he says on the stand or in sworn testimony can be used against him, so long as it is truthful. As a result the judge will compel him to fully answer all questions. His options are A. Tell the Truth, B. Lie and face perjury charges (and does anyone think that at this point the SA won't be quick on the trigger with those) or C. refuse to answer and be jailed for contempt.

I can see it now with SA's first question......"Now keep in mind Mr. Casey we already know the answer." ;o)

That he knew he was tampering and obstructing. Very interesting point. We saw an example of this in the OJ trial and it may apply here to this topic. Mf plead the fifth because he knew he was tampering and obstructing. That may very well be what it appears like. I can certainly understand why neither side would want DC on their witness list.

Yeah I am aware that they are trying to get Dc to say that Kc or Ca lead him to search there, but I don't think that is going to happen. It really makes no sense to me that they would do that. Furthermore, Jb does not seem to be concerned about it. I think also, they were trying to get Jb in trouble, but it didn't work. I wish they would focus there efforts on finding out who caused Caylee's death and the correct fashion it was done in, rather than shooting the messenger or going after the lawyer. Thats just my opinion though.
