#DrewPeterson trial is back. Greenberg arguing Rossettto testimony is "unreliable.'

Someone please help me here. I do not have any doubt that this jury will find that KS was murdered. That said, does anyone here think that the state has proven that DP did it?

I'm not saying logically and obviously, but beyond a reasonable doubt.

Too soon to answer imo. Until the prosecution rests, the question really can't be answered. We just do not have enough info yet, imo.

But, but, but, Brodsky said they were not concerned with his testimony at lunch. :floorlaugh:

They KNOW this testimony could be a fatal blow to DP.

#DrewPeterson pros Koch trying to explain problem to judge. Burmila says "Stop. I'm not asking you to spin it."

The defense wouldn't be acting as they are, bordering on the ridiculous, if they did not think the prosecution had a good case.

:moo:

I do believe Drew killed Kathleen and staged the scene. He believed for a long time that he got away with it. All his grinning and jokes are him thinking to himself, "I did it but you idiots will never prove it!" I also believe Stacy must have figured it out for herself and she may have threatened Drew about going to the authorities with what she knew. So...she had to go....Drew got rid of her (read murder) and claimed she left him for another man. Nobody threatens Drew Peterson. He will have the last word.

#DrewPeterson judge now raking state over the coals for giving defense inconsistent info on when Rossetto had important convo w/ Stacy.

GMAB! The dates are 3 days apart and having nothing to do with the ACCURACY of the CONVERSATION! The judge is horrible and terribly biased.

#DrewPeterson prosecution trying to explain how errors happened. Glasgow says whole team has been sick, including one w/ high fever.

IMO, sounds like the prosecution is whining .... :(

Beth Karas has really called them out about the way they phrase things in their news conferences. They are totally misleading and devoid of the facts.
You know the saying about eyes being the window to the soul? Well they all wear dark sunglasses for a reason .

The way they look coming out of the building every day, they look like Mob Bosses, all puffed up and proud. So over-the-top confident. It's all for show and psychological advantage (they think!). You'd think they were representing the Godfather!:jail:

In Session Judge Burmila is back on the bench. Attorney Greenberg: “Our opinion is that this is obviously unreliable, and it should be barred as testimony. It’s all over the place.” Prosecutor Koch responds: “First of all, the testimony previously provided by Mr. Rossetto has always been that the statement was made in October.” Judge: “Does it say in the police report that the conversation took place at the apartment?” Koch: “No, it doesn’t.” Judge: “Does that police report say that it happened at Denny’s?” Koch: “It does.” Judge: “And you sent them an e-mail that said that the witness would testify consistent with that police report?” Koch: “It’s our position . . .” Judge: “STOP! I’m not asking you to spin it, or put your interpretation on it . . .” Koch: “It says that he will testify consistent with the police report . . . this particular e-mail was sent due to the continuing duty to disclose . . . the e-mail was [sent] Aug. 15 . . . basically, it comes down to the word ‘report,’ which should have been ‘statement.’” Judge: “I know the spin you want to put on it . . .” Glasgow joins the discussion, blaming the confusion on a Scribner’s error.

There’s something wrong with this prosecution team. Attorneys are precise and very deliberate. They get paid for covering all the bases perfectly. This prosecution team is destroying this trail. Not to mention, that this being such a high profile trial the judge is trying to rule perfectly in case/when there is an appeal if DP is found guilty. The judge is PO’d because the prosecution is sloppy and may make him look bad and give grounds for an appeal. They better get on their game or they are going to lose this case for the state. I wish they would just call mistrial and start over but with a different PT. JMOO

Lopez was a defense atty in the family secrets Chicago mob trial, so no surprise there.

Glasgow again points out Stacy's pastor Schori backs up Rossetto story — even though they don't know each other. #DrewPeterson

Glasgow: The (Rossetto) impeachment is there. "We're not trying to hide from the impeachment." #DrewPeterson

#DrewPeterson judge finds state knew Rossetto gave false info during pre-trial hearing and did not tell previous judge.
