TRENTON, Mich. - Jennifer Petkov, who admitted to using Facebook to taunt the family of 7-year-old Kathleen Edward, remains free on bond after waiving her rights to a prelimnary hearing on charges of felonius assault and reckless driving.

She's accused of trying to run over neighbor Tana Boling with her car as Boling crossed the street. The alleged incident happened on October 13.

Petkov waived her right to a preliminary hearing in front of 33rd District Court Judge Michael McNally. She remains free on a $75,000 bond, 10% paid. A trial is set for Nov. 30 at 9:00 a.m.

Part of the condition of her bond states that she must remain at a distance from Tana Bolling. In today's hearing, the prosection asked the judge to remind Petkov of this condition. The prosecution claims Petkov may have violated it when she posted a video on YouTube, demonstrating how she became too physically close to Bolling. Petkov shook her head in denial. The video in question cannot currently be found on YouTube. Judge McNally warned Petkov to stay away, or else.

This woman is incredible. Her disdain for the court, her seething rage against anyone she perceives as an enemy - it's palpable. I believe this woman is a danger to society. I'm glad two of her kids are out of that house. I wish the others were as well. She seems uncontrollable - finding a way to harass yet another neighbor even while she's out on bond for assaulting that neighbor!
She is very personality disordered IMO and the best thing that town can do is ride her continuously until she is either locked up or out o0f that town. Sickening.

Today in Wayne County Judge David A. Groner's courtroom, Petkov stood mute. A "blind-drawing" moves the case to Judge Carol Youngblood's court on December 3rd for another hearing on the matter. Fox 2 cameras will be there.

Police were called to the 100 block of Detroit last Wednesday on a neighbor dispute involving Jennifer Petkov and Rebecca Rose.

The two women have a longstanding dispute that gained national notoriety this year when Petkov allegedly posted doctored images of Rose’s daughter and granddaughter on the Internet.

Jennifer Petkov Still Terrorizing Neighborhood

Jennifer Petkov still doesn’t seem to understand that she cannot terrorize the neighborhood and get away with it. At her court appearance November 17th, Wayne County Assistant Prosecutor Kristin Capling, told Judge Michael McNalley that she was concerned over Petkov’s possible bond violations.

Because of this the couple decided to make an apology video. Of course this apology isn't really for the little girl but to try and keep the public from attacking them.

The source says that Jennifer Petkov texted someone in the Rose family, asking if her kids could come to the event. A response to the text did not come quickly enough and it angered Jennifer. According to the Rose family, she's been harassing them ever since.



I just found this thread and wow! Just wow! How could anyone be so inhumane and cold. The fact they have kids is super disturbing.

He said his employer is considering firing him. The eldest of the Petkovs’ four children was sent home from school after getting into an argument with a classmate who confronted him about the Internet photos, said the couple.

“My husband is a good person and I hope he doesn’t lose his job. I hope our family doesn’t lose his job. I’m the bad person,” Jennifer Petkov said Friday. “I feel horrible for what I’ve said and done. That little girl shouldn’t have had to lose her mom like that and she shouldn’t have to lose her life either. I just hope she didn’t see those pictures.”

God I hate meaningless self serving apologies. If this hadn't hit the news and your husband wasn't in danger of losing his job would you have apologized by now? I highly doubt it. It's like a murderer who does everything he can to evade capture and at sentencing apologizes to the family. Save it your just making it worse.

I have not been in a fight since I was 5 years old and I've never laid a hand on a woman in anger. However, if I worked with her or lived near her or saw her on the street the temptation to just beat the ever living :censored: out of her would be overwhelming. I've got to be careful because if I don't closely monitor myself here I might write something that would have me banned, and rightfully so.

I have never felt so much anger and revulsion for another human being in my life. Even after waiting awhile I'm thinking things that will send me straight to hell if I die now.

She's a sick hateful woman, but the people who are retaliating against her family and sending death threats are just as sick and hateful. I'm thankful that so many people have responded positively and rallied around this poor girl.

Carbuff, you are 100% right but I'm thinking thoughts I never thought I'd be capable of about this woman. Something this sick, this low, this inhuman, this disgusting just sets people off like bonfire. I have never, ever, ever been as angered by something I've seen on the news or read as I have been by this.

The people egging and making death threats are wrong, but I know why they find it hard to keep themselves from doing it.

I don't buy her apology either-- she seemed a bit smug to me. She has no clue as to how awful her behavior is.. just thinks bygones can be bygones. As far as I am concerned, her behavior is unforgivable. There are NO EXCUSES for her actions. She should be shunned by the community and if her slug of a husband loses his job -- well, what goes around comes around. (I am sorry if my words offend any of you, dear Sleuthers. I just have no patience for people who bully and mistreat children-- especially a terminally ill child whose mother is dead from the same disease she is dying from.)

Jan. 19, DetNews.com: Rose's PPO violation complaint claims Petkov and her husband harassed her with pranks, Internet postings and stalking. She claims Trenton Police have been given a video recording of Jennifer Petkov telling her husband to follow Rose. Jennifer Petkov has denied any wrongdoing.

Petkov previously admitted on camera that she posted altered photos on Facebook showing Kathleen's face set above crossbones and her mother in the arms of the grim reaper. The 33-year-old also faces a February criminal trial for allegedly trying to run over another neighbor.

The dispute continues online, where Petkov and supporters of the Edwards family continue to trade barbs and post videos of each other on social networking sites....

I kinda, almost, sorta felt sorry at first when I heard about him losing his job. I hate to hear of ANYONE losing their jobs these days. But, even if he is sort of blaming his wife and she is taking all the blame (now), at the very beginning he stood BY her! On TV! So, they all, with the exception of their children, at least until we hear otherwise, deserve whatever hell comes their way. This is just sick. And sorry, but those "apologies" hold no water with me.

Scott wrote to a radio show undercover trying to play like he is a neighbor of himself, trying to act like the Petkov's are good people. Unfortunately Scott didn't realize his name shows up in the From line. So the show found out it was really him. They then read the entire e-mail on air (including all the spelling mistakes). The driving incident was witnessed by two people. Police were told that Petkov was in a red Impala in her driveway, with the vehicle facing the street. The witnesses said Petkov then attempted to run over the woman as she was crossing the street.

WTF? Felonious assault? If you take a 5,000 pound object and hurl it at somebody at 25 miles an hour that's attempted murder. JMO

It occurs to me that these people are sitting at home feeling sorry for themselves and having no clear picture of why everyone is so pissed at them. I believe they are that far wrapped up in themselves that they truly don't understand the level of depravity they have displayed and think everyone is just picking on them. Just my take on it.

Belinda, I think your spot on with that but they need to realize that when millions of people think you're pond scum there's probably a very, very, good reason for it. It really shouldn't be that hard to understand.

Did not realize 2 of the kids had a different father...good for him.
It is her own fault she lost the kids...She handed him the perfect ammunition to take the kids away from her..and I doubt she will ever gain custody again.

I hope they decide they never want to have contact with her again. I think it would be best for them and provide another level of punishment for her the law can't provide.

I didn't hear about the other 2 kids being removed (her's and Scott's)... we're they taken into protective custody or did other family step forward?

I look online every once in awhile for an update and never seem to find one. I can't believe she still up to causing trouble! Good lord... This... this... "woman" needs to be stopped. She needs to sit in a jail cell for awhile.

Without knowing her I would have no way of knowing what the root cause of her meaness comes from. My guess would be that she was spoiled and has a sense of entitlement. She learned that behavior from somewhere or wasn't taught what is acceptable and what isn't. She is a bully. JMO
