Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Jury Trial - discussion *GUILTY*

It's so strange to hear these stories. How can someone compartmentalize such two radical existences? By all accounts he seemed like a sweet, bright child who grew up to be a normal young guy. It's hard to reconcile these stories to what he did. It's bizarre. I have a hard time accepting that someone in college, living their own life could be so heavily influenced by his brother. I don't understand why someone living college life and seemingly having a good time and planning for their future would do something like this.

Yes -it's unbelievable to me also how a seemingly "regular" person can do something like this and I also don't think he was that influenced by his brother as he was mostly away from him at college.

You never know tho' what a person is really thinking and who they are underneath it all, IMO. I keep going back to- He made his choice to put that backpack down, to cause such destruction in that single choice and no one else is responsible for his decision at that point in time, IMO.

I do feel so sorry for his friends that thought he was someone else and are so devastated- it's so sad.
