I'm beginning to like Grandpa Johnson.

Johnson’s grandfather, Robert Johnson, who was present for the hearing on Thursday, said he believes Elizabeth knows what she’s doing.

“I don’t really understand what her strategy was for using incompetency as a defense,” Johnson said. “She’s competent and they’re going to go to trial. That ought to produce a different direction. She chose that kind of behavior, and now, she must face the consequences.”

It almost seems like EJ was coached re: the incompetency just like so many other things that happened.

The mother of an Arizona baby missing since December and his would-be adoptive mother are scheduled to be in a Phoenix courtroom Monday morning.

Elizabeth Johnson and Tammi Peters Smith are scheduled for pretrial conferences in Maricopa County Superior Court.

Woman Who Wanted To Adopt Child Misses Monday Court Date

The mother of an Arizona baby missing since December and his would-be adoptive mother were scheduled to be in a Phoenix courtroom Monday morning.

However, only one of them showed up.

Elizabeth Johnson's case was quickly continued until October.

I was really hoping that a miracle would happen and that EJ would find it in her heart to tell the court where Gabriel is. Once again I am sadly disappointed. Another whole month of hoping that one of these women reach deep into their hearts and start telling the truth.

hi Jess- thanks for all the great posts- i think Amy Nguyen is an associate in the firm of Kimerer & Derrick. IIRC Michael Kimerer is who you are thinking of.
