Didn't we see this in the first doc dump?

As I recall, the Diary of Days entry included in the first document dump was incomplete-- the document cut off the last half of the entry.

Well I can say we are all familiar with KC's psycho diary of days, but I cannot say I ever caught on to her current movie she was watching- American Psycho!!!!! It was about a seemingly normal guy who went on killing rampages! Wow

I know! I think the American Psycho thing is very interesting-- Patrick Bateman, the main character is superficially perfect, but innately brutal and sadistic.
Another interesting similarity-- whenever Bateman is in a bind or wants to avoid dealing with something, he says "I have to go return some videotapes." Similarly, it appears Casey went to Blockbuster soon after killing Caylee, probably leaving her body in the trunk instead of dealing with its disposal.

This is a line straight out of Spiderman. Seriously.

I think she just took a bunch of cliche'd comments and threw them together.

ROFL. I was thinking the exact same thing. Everything she says sounds just like spiderman. So epic!

She was probably drunk off her butt or high in writing that, listening to her ipod and thinking "deep thoughts". Her thought process is about as shallow as the grave she dug for her own daughter. Which is zilch.

Yeah, thats the sense I got too,its just an eclectic mix of pseudo deep dark(heavy on the dark) profundity crap she picked up in various places...perfect validation for her selfish sociopathic outlook.

I agree with being drunk and/or high, with "deep thoughts". But, I think she is smarter than we think. Kind of a nerdy, odd duck smart. She tries to fit in by being "sexy, blah, blah", the party girl figure. Haven't we all had or known of someone that tries wayyyyy too hard to be a friend. Most of the time they are "nice" people, but, just a little too weird and never really fit in with one group.
Does this make any sense?

All this interested me so I googled "diary of days" and this is one of the results that I got. Don't know who it belongs to but I found it interesting because of a current discussion about it KC could have been an escort.

http://sitdiary.net/aworkinggirl/

Oh my word! I thought all along that the escort searches were hers, maybe looking to do some easy work that would get her attention from men. That page you linked, click on "profile" and it says they're 22, profile created March of '08 (around the time she was doing other odd searches)... hmmm...

Makes perfect sense to me. Especially "someone that tries wayyyyy too hard to be a friend". Cooking and cleaning for her bf and his roommates, going so far as to steal the food and/or food money to feed them.

Someone said KC always kept a diary. I wonder if this might be where she kept it? Odd...LE should check it out.

I agree. They should check that site thoroughly. They should check her computer history to see if that's a site she was logging onto at that time. Escorting would likely take up her evenings and be yet another reason she couldn't handle being a mother.

If you found it on-line a few weeks ago, you'd understand her money-making efforts. It appeared to be shot professionally as it was a close-up face shot of a made-up, smiling Casey pleasing a male organ.
Remember, in one LE interview with GA, the officer told George there are hundreds of *advertiser censored* images available online? So, so, sad George said, 'he didn't know what she had been doing recently.'
BTW, I do fault her parents for not insisting she complete a GED to find some employment to support herself and daughter. How could they continue to provide her and Caylee room and board and pay for their expenses?
What kind of future did they envision for their daughter and granddaughter knowing Casey did not have the ability to support herself and her daughter?
Oh, yeah! They believed she was employed, even though, she kept asking money for gas, etc., never produced deposit slips and continued to steal money from them, grandparents and friends!

I personally did not think that photo was Casey, and neither did my boyfriend, who was suddenly, inexplicably interested in the case;) Also, I don't think the police ever outright SAID that Casey had hundreds of *advertiser censored* images online, did they? I thought they just said they had a whole lot of compromising photos...I could be wrong:)

I saw the pic you're referring to and I thought it looked just like her.

“On the worst of worst days, remember the words spoken
Trust no one, only yourself.
With great power, comes great consequence.
What is given can be taken away.
Everyone Lies.
Everyone Dies.”
Life will never be easy" is the last line of Casey's poem.

It's also in the documents as a printed page, but I don't want to wade through that. I believe Patty has an indexed version though. :)

I thought I read Casey put those words/lines together, piecing it from different sources. I could be wrong of course

With great power comes great consequence. This was the tagline for the movie "Jumper."

After watching "Jumper," I believe that Casey could easily identfy with the protagonist of the story, who uses his "great power" (the ability to teleport himself) only for selfish gain. He lives the high life, sleeps around, steals just for sake of stealing, yet shows no sign of conscience.

His sociopathy is clearly demonstrated in one scene where he sees live television news footage of people who are about to die in a flood. Knowing he can easily save them, he callously shuts the tv off and goes out to a bar.

As the movie ends we come to understand why the Jumper's mother has abandoned him: She is a Paladin (Paladins have taken a vow to kill Jumpers as they are considered "an abomination") and rather than kill her own child, she leaves him to his father's care. In the final scene there is one last meeting of the Paladin mother and her adult child. Again, she allows him to escape unharmed.

The great consequence? Jumpers are doomed to life of selfish pleasure, for they are unable to connect with others in any meaningful way. Doing so puts others at risk of losing their lives.

In my honest opinon I think Caylee was Cindy & George's attempt at a DO OVER !! Plain & Simple....

Nice analogy...

After reading through many recent posts on the various threads tonight, I ran across a mention of KC's "Diary of Days" and was struck by something in a way I hadn't been before. It seems that many things seem different after a year has passed and we have been blessed with so many doc dumps. If this has been pondered before, I am sorry I missed it. The line from "DOD" that states "On the worst of days, Remember the words spoken." I am now wondering if that might not have been directed at CA because of something that she may have said to KC during the alledged fight on June 15. Something that KC is now inferring may be why she killed Caylee? "Remember the words spoken." According to CA herself, there were clues in what KC said. So now I am wondering if maybe the key line from this poem wasn't the "everyone lies, everyone dies." part but the line "remember the words spoken." :waitasec:
