im sorry...im so far behind on the reading....but i found this...and was wondering if this has been talked about?

at the top of the page it says

*together read "BIG TROUBLE comes small"*
*Several items that appeared to be part of a child's pull up pants*

then it goes on to talk about the skull, duct tape...etc.....

then...

at the very bottom of the page after all the other stuff.....and a couple pics.....and then it goes on to talk about the southernmost outside shed and then you would have to continue onto the next page....but....it has a note at the bottom of the page
it says, with a black line above it...............

*NOTE: The word "packages" was found at the scene where the bags were recovered*.

does this mean that part of Caylee's shirt ( the iron on word "packages") was found inside the garage at the Anothonys house while they were searching and found the laundry bag and black plastic bag?

if this is true....that would link the crime scene to the house

i wasnt sure where to post this....i also posted in the shirt thread....

How strange. This would mean that part of the shirt was torn off at the Anthony's house, and the other part of the shirt Caylee was probably wearing. Am I understanding this right? Wow, that would definitely link it to the Anthony home possibly being the crime scene, as well. :waitasec:

im sorry....i gave the wrong link at first....working on two case at once...i changed it above
http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21184243/detail.html

Hi There!
I don't believe this is the case. If you look at the very top of this document, right after "BIG TROUBLE comes small" there is a numeric one (1) which is denoting a note to be further explained at the bottom of the page. Then when you scroll to the bottom you see:

"NOTE: the word packages was found...."

All this does is further explain their note....I don't believe it to mean that part of the shirt was found at the home. It's merely a note reference.

I have a question I posted on a different thread, but alas it was ignored.
Maybe this is the correct thread.
Normally I hate to ask others for help to dig up anything I want to know about, but for the life of me, I cannot find this info.
Can someone please tell me, regarding the plastic bags from the fbi list, what plastic bag is the one that held the body. Was it q87?
And the big question is Has there been a comparision report of the bag the body was in against the plastic bags removed from the home?
Another question is is one of the bags that are from the home, the plastic bag that was found in the garage where it was inside something(can't remember what) and folks were thinking that for some reason this bag would be a better match to the one where the body was found. Remember this?

plastic bags from home
Q71 - plastic bag from home (OCSO item #26, q-69)
Q72 - plastic bag from home (OCSO item #28, q-70)
Q73 - plastic bag from home (OCSO item #28, q-70)
Q74 - plastic bag from home (OCSO item #39, q-75)
Q75 - plastic bag from home (OCSO item #66, q-77)

Plastic bag from crime
Q85 - plastic bag crime scene - no hair present - no trunk fibers
Q86 - plastic bag crime scene - no hair present
Q87 - body bag crime scene - no hair present
Obviously matching up the the bag at the crime scene with the home would be the cincher .

That laundry bag and blanket are going to be crucial questions that the prosecution will ask Cindy about.

BBM-
Number 8 is incorrect. The report says that something like adipocere was found on the paper towels, not that it was definately adipocere (aka gravewax).
There is nothing defintive that proves caylees decomp was on the paper towels, its just a conclusion that we all jumped to when we read the word adipocere and discovered it was associated with decomp.
It could have been any number of things on the paper towel, from soap, to make up etc.
(I'm going to add this in the myths thread).
PS: Its possible that it is caylees decomp, and is actually adipocere, but until they prove it, rather than saying it was 'like' adipocere, it should be taken with a grain of salt.

Ok, I went to an expert in his field. Hope this clears up some issues. Below is my questions I posed to him & his replies.

Just a quick question. Can bacon grease be mistaken for grave wax? Say, wiped on a paper towel?

It’s possible at least visually–particularly if it has been there a while and has dried to a denser consistency.

Ok, I should have been more clear on what I was asking. In a case in Florida, the FBI determined that Grave wax was found on some paper towels in the trunk of a car. Some people have said that it could be plain ole bacon grease. Is that so? Would the FBI not know the difference? Thanks hun!

D.P. Lyle, MD said, on October 3, 2009 at 6:07 am
Visually they might appear similar but the lab would have no trouble distinguishing one from the other.

And the duct tape on the signs that G & C used will show ultimate deceit!!!!!!!!!!!!
God Bless Caylee . We are all here for HER!!!!!

Yep. They will ask George quite a bit about that duct tape. Cindy knows if she had more than one laundry bag and what kind it was. She already "slipped" and admitted the pooh blanket was missing. I can certainly see why the state doesn't want to charge with obstruction until after they testify.

That laundry bag and blanket are going to be crucial questions that the prosecution will ask Cindy about.

Would like to point out that the latest FBI docs state that because the two laundry bags were dissimilar in size and shape no fiber analysis or comparison was done between them. They are only the same brand, not the exact laundry bag.

There was no analysis of the laundry bag in this dump. After I get my school work done today I plan on going back over all the old forensics released and seeing if I can fill some gaps.

Valhal, would you please see if you can see if in the forensics whether anything was written about this question.

"Has there been a comparision report of the bag the body was in against the plastic bags removed from the home?"

I don't think one has come out yet that addresses this otherwise it would be all over the place, but am holding out hope they can tie the bag to one of the Anthonys.

As far as I know, there has been no forensic report on the plastic bags, but I'll check back over older releases and see if I missed something (won't be the first or last time!)

Wasn't that a no brainer? Not being snarky, but, bacon is just Loaded with preservatives, nitrates, etc. Any processed meats could never be passed off as human anything.

Valhal, I found the post from June where the plastic bags were discussed in detail (can't imagine what I was doing wrong that it eluded me).

Sadly it appears the bag was degraded too much to make a more definitive match than by just color and type.

I think I was one who compared adipocere to bacon grease, to give a visual idea of what it was when the information first came out.

Preservative and other further testing has probably been done, but I don't think we've seen those tests. We've only seen the VFA analysis, which determined the substance on the toweling could be pig or animal.

I don't think the presence of adipocere is consistent with 2 or so days in the trunk, based on what I've read, but I could well be wrong.

Link to some info about adipocere, pg 15 of 19:

has been updated to add further test results.

Would like to add something that I noticed. Test results found that in the hair mass with the remains, on the skull, on all 3 pieces of duct tape found with remains and on the duct tape found on the gas cans the test results state that fibers of various types and colors are present. All evidence is preserved for further testing.

That's a potential common link between several key pieces of evidence.

...edited b me with respect

IF there were only "coffin fly" maggots on the paper towels and no blow-fly maggots, as Dr. Vass said, that is significant. It shows Caylee was probably put in the pontiac trunk alive.

Just putting Caylee into a trash bag would not have kept blow flies away.

In one of the last motions from KC's defense, discovery from the entomologist was specifically requested. Could the entomologist hold the smoking gun that will prove aggravated child abuse and murder one?

I just wanted to say I think this is an excellent post and the type of information that would convince me of Casey's guilt of murder 1 if I were a juror.

a lil off track, but does anyone have any idea if this trial will be on tv or the web . I have looked everwhere I can think of
