you're missing the point.

An order of protection is a legal instrument. It means that CL stood in front of a judge
after getting arrested, or an arrest is pending, and he agreed and told the Judge
that he absolutely would NOT contact the victim...no matter what. I am quite sure, the
prosecutor, police and Judge made it crystal clear to CL NOT to contact the ex gf.

CL disobeyed an order of protection. He broke the law. What part of that don't you get?

Article said he's in jail, so I think he was most likely arrested.

Mom - you are correct with your thoughts of gang violence....od's - yes, but this is the 2nd time
this young lady had a domestic violence episode with CL.

After all his time in jail, you'd THINK he would get it that NO CONTACT with the victim
MEANS NO CONTACT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE or you go straight to jail.

He could be charged with a felony at this point and go right back to prison.

The purpose of an instrument of the law such as an order of protection

is to PROTECT and that means that CL was NOT to communicate with the intended party
in any way shape or form via telephone, text, electronic device, computer, text message or email.

CL violated his order of protection and will be in court on Monday to face the charges that the
prosecutors will throw at him.

In regards to Loeb being the reason that Burke is behind bars; that is a two edged sword.
The Feds used Loeb as a tool and Loeb knew it only too well. The Feds used Chris to get
at Burke and used Burke to get him to take a bite and feed someone else to the Fed sharks.

As far as I know, Burke hasn't played the canary, though, 15 others in the Loeb Vs. Burke case have
sung for their supper and threw Burke under the bus big time.

You are not thinking things through properly. If the purpose of the law is to protect then it would not be in the interests of anybody interpreting the law to include 'emails' in a protective order. For one thing, emails give information to the 'vulnerable' party without any of the risks of other ways of getting information. There is no threat whatsoever from an email itself, and it could in fact mitigate or give a warning about genuine threats. If you did want to imagine that an email was anything more offensive than 'rude', and you felt that stopping emails would protect the person then the answer is a spam filter.

The feds have a lot of priorities, but their top priority is maintaining the positive public image of the police. This is proven day after day.

Do the feds go after corrupt cops? Of course.

Will they do it if they feel that the costs, i.e., the negative reaction by the public, outweighs the benefits of eliminating the corruption? Absolutely not. It has been proven so many times it could be considered the signature of the American legal system, whose motto should be "Image over Substance".

I just think there is a medical connection. I also think the person gets a kick out of getting to know their victims. Once they know everything, and they make sure the potential victim has told no one of their 'Relationship' then I think they kill them. But I bet they have money, they like a nice girl on their arm, so maybe there must be a restaurant or two who would be able to link the girls with one client. Question is would Burke be able to do this without it being noticed?

The drifter was supposedly a childhood friend of this Mr Brewer, not sure I have read a denial. But interestingly there was a drifter staying at another house who said it packed an awful smell? Was this true?

What it proves is either Burke convinced everyone to give this guy a beating to send a message.

Or they all knew exactly why they were beating him because some or all were in or used videos.

As a message I mean he was suggesting 'Here is a street punk, let's send a message to the rest of them, don't mess with cops property.'

I doubt anyone (especially men with jobs of that stature) are recording videos of themselves having sex with women to package and sell to an audience. If there is any recording , it is being kept private, along with any photos. I imagine LISK to have some kind of trophy collection, like a picture book or strands of hair.

I am not sure they are a LISK, two different groups for me. LISK is earlier Murders, and the latest ones are a group, knowing there were body parts out there to cover them if they were caught. It was a fluke with Gilbert, R.I.P. Then the sniffer dog remember.

There are two similar types of crime that can be confused.

1) A solitary murderer who likes to have sex and then kill the person he or she had sex with. This is sort of the popular image of this kind of crime. Everybody looks for the killer, there are no confusing signs or ambiguous evidence if you look at it accurately.

2) Some people develop a taste for this sort of thing as part of a group. The most common example is a young soldier who is sort of initiated into mixing sex and death. It usually seems to be in conflicts that involve racial or ethnic differences. Whether two tribes in Africa, American soldiers 'vs' Vietnamese etc.

In this case maybe the original killer was somebody who served in Vietnam, became a NYPD cop then moved over to Suffolk and used the crony atmosphere of the police department to recruit people of similar backgrounds. It seems pretty rare for a group of that kind of killers to get caught. If that's the case the original cops involved are probably retired but have frequent contact with the high level cops they installed in power. That's my guess.
