When police named Shakespeare's friend Dorice Donegan Moore as the last person to have seen him, Websleuths members began to slog through public bankruptcy records and monitor online scanners. Others posted photographs of the properties on threads where property records were mulled. Volunteer sleuths determined that Moore had purchased two houses, side-by-side, placing the home that turned out to be the crime scene in her boyfriend's name.

Are we for sure that Abraham was killed in April 2009? Is there proof that the concrete slab was poured sometime back then. I'm just wondering because I was told my another source that they are sure they were with Abraham in June of 2009.

Everything I ever read, says Abraham was killed in April 2009. There is proof of the time concrete slab was poured. DDM asked that a hole be dug in back of the house. The person who did the work confirmed the date.
I wonder if Dorice Moore is still paying people to say they saw him. She's being charged with murdering him in early April.
From the criminal affidavit:
On November 09,2009 Cedric Edom, reports the disappearance ofAbraham Shakespeare to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Edom advised he has not seen the victim since April of 2009 and felt that Dee Dee Moore and Judy Haggins were some how involved.
Abraham Shakespeare was last seen alive in the Lakeland, Florida area by Courtney Daniels during the first week ofApril 2009. Ms. Daniels knew Abraham Shakespeare for several years and periodically lived with Shakespeare at 9340 Red Hawk Bend Dr. Lakeland, FI 33810.
On January 28, 2010, Detective Thomas of the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office and Detective Wallace ofthe Polk County Sheriffs Office conducted an interview with Dee Dee Moore's ex-husband, James Moore. Mr. Moore stated that Dee Dee Moore asked him to recommend the type of equipment to clear her land at 5802 Hwy. 60 Plant City, Florida. He suggested a tractor with attachments, however she purchased a Case Backhoe on April 3, 2009 at a Lakeland Auction. Dee Dee Moore paid James Moore approximately $100 to pick-up the backhoe and deliver the same to her property on highway 60, utilizing his family's flat bed trailer. Dee Dee Moore called James Moore during the first two weeks of April, 2009, and requested that he come to her property at 5802 Highway 60 and utilize the purchased Case backhoe to dig a hole for concrete and trash.
Just a few of the references to the April 2009 date as date of death. Haven't seen the coroner's report, though.
Thanks guys. The person who told me they were with Abraham in June was probably just trying to cover up who they were really with. I'm sure you guys understand what I am saying without me actually having to say it. I guess I need to start doing some Sleuthing at home.
I don't understand, but that is okay. Lots of times I don't understand and if you wanted to say it, you would have. They had also referenced that it was in April when the cellphone usage had changed.
Perhaps you should refer this person to one of the detectives. They might be interested in why this person is saying they were with him in June. Like Howard Stitzel who claimed he spoke to him in October. Or that turncoat who called his mother and pretended to be him in December and then tried to act like some big hero when the truth was he was backed into a corner because the police had caught him as the caller so he turned on Dorice and acted as an informant. Glad he did, but it wasn't exactly because he was some wonderful friend or a hero.
I don't know who is telling you this, but I would definitely question their motives and let the detectives question them as well.

This person has talked to the detectives, but I'm not sure if he told him he was with Abraham in June 2009. He said he did. I think that he just didn't want me to know where he really was. I'm sure he wasn't with him.

There are some new documents up on the clerk's website. One is an order signed by the judge on 7/21 about turning over the evidence to the defense. I'm assuming that the 20 days starts from that point?? If so, then the 20 days will be up tomorrow, 8/3. Is anyone keeping an eye out on the Ledger site and some of the other media sites for new articles?? I'm still on this awful connection (which has gotten worse by the way) so it's really hard for me to search for things and impossible for me to watch video.
Hopefully something new will break tomorrow or Wednesday!!!

Investigators obtained the camera in January from Moore's mother, according to a search warrant application. The request came after investigators recorded a telephone call Moore made from jail to a former associate, according to the application.
Moore made five calls June 30 from the Orient Road Jail to Debra Munguia, who took over Moore's nursing business, according to the search warrant application, which was filed Aug. 4.
During one of the conversations, Moore told Munguia she videotaped Shakespeare talking about "leaving Lakeland and what he wanted done with his money," according to the application.
After learning of video, investigators asked for a warrant to search the Sony Handycam high-definition camera, which was previously turned over to investigators by Linda Donegan, Moore's mother.
The camera will reveal "evidence of the personal relationship and financial transactions which led to the transfer of Mr. Shakespeare's wealth and his ultimate death," according to the application.
